OlderSuri Cruise Has New Lightened Locks
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes
leave their Manhattan hotel with daughter Suri, 2, on a cloudy Saturday afternoon.
Suri sported a new lightened do and carried her milk (and barley?) bottle.
Here are some quotes from this past Friday’s Oprah interview with Tom:
On [his children] Connor and Bella reading tabloid reports about Cruise:”They love me, so they know. They’ve grown up with that, and I’m sure there are things that they don’t like, and you go, ‘Okay, that happened, things go wrong, but don’t live in it. Don’t live in that because today is a new day and there’s plenty of tomorrows. They’re good people, my children. I’m proud of them.I don’t want them to worry. They know I’m there. No matter what, I’m always there.”
On dressing like Santa to surprise Suri: “I open the door, and I’m giving my best, ‘Oh, merry Christmas! Oh, look at this little girl,’ and Suri looks at me, and she says, ‘No – Dada!’ So that night, we were putting Suri down. Kate says, ‘How was it? Did you like it? What did you think of Santa?’ And Suri was really sweet, she looks up, and she goes, ‘Dada Santa.’”

I think it is ridiculous to lighten a two year olds hair. What is wrong with its natural color?

I am looking closer to the photos and I hope it is just the lighting from the cameras that is giving a lighter tone to her little hair.

I kinda thought the opposite….They have been dying her hair DARKER for the longest time and this may be her natural color…???? Dont know why that was my first thought….Strange…

its the lighting because other pics of them dining with Oprah Suri’s hair is dark. Same with those made up rumors of Katie cutting her hair when it was just tucked behind the ears. No new hairdo at all.

My son’s hair was really dark when he was born & then it got lighter & lighter until it was blonde for about 4-5 years & then it turned darker again.

Why isn’t Katie or Tom’s hair lighter??
I had this done to me as a child because my mom wanted my hair to stay blond. It was not good. I think it is very wrong. Let alone with the chance of chemical in the eye.
Tom and Katie are gorgeous and all aglow. Suri looks so precious.
