OlderJordin Sparks is Sparkling Again
Jordin Sparks is officially back in business after her vocal cord injury, reports OK! Magazine.
Jordin had been forced to sit out the opening dates of Alicia Keys‘ North American tour due to what was described as an acute vocal cord hemorrhage condition.
But Jordin was seen filming her new promo, believed to be for the next single from her self-titled album, in Los Angeles. The 18-year-old American Idol winner appeared in good health and was all smiles.
She also told MTV that, “I’m feeling good. “I’m supposed to be on full vocal rest, which means no talking, laughing, giggling, and singing. Can I tell you how hard that is!? I want to tell my fans: Thank you for all the prayers and your concern. You guys are what keep me going, honestly. But not to worry! I’ll be better in no time!”

I think J. Sparks tries so hard to be someone special and unique and also appealing to the masses that she has becoming someone totally boring and even annoying! Trying THIS hard has never been attractive. Totally average and lacks individuality.
I don’t understand how you can have a vocal cord hemorrage by lip syncing like she did on American Idol a few weeks ago.Don’t try and tell me “oh she was already injured then”.Most of today’s R+B “stars” wouldn’t be caught dead in a live situation without their Pro-Tool enhanced “live” vocal tracks playing.She looked real nervous and totally out of place.Idol is has been a joke the past few years.Grandpa Hicks was the first and now it looks like “I Love Jesus” Archuletta is now their golden boy.American Idol is whoever is going to make the most money for the producers that year.Sorry Jordin, your career will be over soon and we will all forget you.

Don’t even listen to people that are negative. Your carrer is going to last a long time. You have an incredible voice and are upthere with Christina Aguilara, Alicia K, and many others. The only reason I know you are going to last is that you are a great genuine person. Be ready for a long carrear and also to deal with the good and the bad that cames with been a star. The people that tell you that you are not going to make it , they are just jelous of your talent and the millions you are going to make. Petey, I guess you did not know all of the LIVE performances Jordin has had within the pass year promoting her platinum song “tattoo”? She was all over the place live singing tattoo, from the morning show, to late night shows and even afternoon shows. I often wondered if she would hurt her vocal cords singing as much as she did, and it happen. That is why Mariah and several other great singers do not sing LIVE all of the time. It can really cause damage to your vocal cords. Jordin is a great singer, and each week she was on American Idol proved that! If you do not like a person why don’t you go on a site where you do enjoy them. Jordin you ROCK!!!
