Carrie Underwood sparkles in a Badgley Mischka mini at the 2008 Academy of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas on Sunday.
The 25-year-old singer took the Top Female Vocalist trophy for the second time in a row.
As she accepted the top female vocalist award, Carrie said, “Wow! God is good! God is good! I would like to thank the most wonderful family in the world. I have great parents, great sisters, great family. … There are so many people who have done so many wonderful things for me, and I know I don’t deserve it. But I’ll take it! Oh, fans! Thank you fans! Duh! Fans got me everything that I have and I owe everything to you, so thank you fans.”
Last year, Carrie won for top female vocalist, album and video of the year honors.

Nah. Jamie Lynn doesn’t look like her. I suppose her stuffy blond hair may have made a tiny resemblance. I doubt it though.
She is gorgeous and very talented. She deservered the Top Female Vocalist award. So happy for her.

I am happy to see she has a nice hairstyle….I think all those curls she used to wear were to big for her smale face….i think i have seen her in a similar dress before…she must like that style i guess.

while carrie isnt my favorite, i have to admit that she never disappoints me. She always sounds good .
Her acceptance speech sounded just as fake, rehearsed and pre-packaged as she is; no sincerity whatsoever. She’s probably p*ssed that she didn’t get nominated for every award offered, since she’s so full of herself.
Jesus, she looks old. She needs a more natural look immediately. What happened to the cute girl next door?
