Jason Statham comes out of his trailer shirtless and scarred as he heads to the the set of his new movie, Crank 2: High Voltage, on Tuesday in Malibu, Calif.
Yes, of course those cuts and scratches are just make-up!
Crank 2 plotline: Chev Chelios (Statham) faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working. Amy Smart and Bai Ling costar.

The movie wasn’t that good. I got it from Netflicks. Did it make money? I didn’t think so. Hollywood is running out of ideas.

Sorry, folks. Several inaccuracies – He wasn’t “flogged”. He was probably single-tailed… Whipped with a single-tailed whip. A flogger has multiple tails, and doesn’t break the skin.
The marks on him look really fake to anybody who has actually whipped somebody else (for that person’s pleasure).
I can’t imagine any implement that would make marks like that. Maybe an X-Acto blade, used close up while he held still.
He agreed to co-star with Bai Ling? Oh how the mighty have fallen.
