OlderChristian Bale - "Details" June 2008
In the June 2008 issue of Details Magazine, Christian Bale celebrates the work of the late Heath Ledger, his co-star in the upcoming Batman film. The Dark Knight.
Bale said, “He was incredibly intense in his performance but incredibly mellow and laid-back. Certainly there was this great anarchistic streak to it just getting dirtier than anybody’s envisioned the Joker before. … Naturally, (the movie) was something I wanted to share with him and expected to do so. And I can’t do anything else but hope that it will be an absolutely appropriate celebration of his work.”

It was also recently announced that Bale, 34, will play the role of John Connor in 3 sequels to the Terminator franchise.
“Christian was our first choice and he’s a big fan of The Terminator, so we’re very lucky,” co-producer Victor Kubicek told the BBC at the Cannes Film Festival.

I love Christian Bale. Fantastic actor who made the transition from a child star (Empire of the Sun) to a leading man who has character actor talent.
I don’t like Westerns, but 3:10 to Yuma is one of the best westerns ever made. Rent it just for Christian. The man is a real actor, so rare these days.

I love Christian Bale. he is a fantastic actor, who, sadly, I believe, doesn’t get the recognition he deserves. he’s so much better than alot of celebs who get coverage for doing basically nothing.

I adore Christian Bale. He’s amazing in Little Women, and I think he was only 20 when it was filmed. I also love him as the voice of Howl in Howl’s Moving Castle. I think he does get recognition, but he’s not a huge star who’s stalked by paparazzi all the time. I’m pretty sure he prefers it that way. :)
There are many who do appreciate his work.
he looks 40 instead of in his 30′s. He needs to do some comedies instead of acting the same.
He’s ok an actor when his roles are sooo the same. He’s always so intense and serious. Take a chill pill as many critics advised him to do.
