lol jared I think your going to have a target on your head. I had no idea that this new show was related to someone that was already in hollywood. Who woulda knew, I didn’t hear about this from anywhere else. i’ll really not watch this show now. Gas prices are at an evertime high, and what the typical dull american is going to sit back and say boy, those guys work hard. Yeah those guys might work hard, they might have a dangerous job, but it’s one they signed on to do, and unlike our men and women in the military, it’s one they can walk away from any day.

o maybe he can have another child and name it bud or corona

To all of the commentators about Rooster need to learn a little bit about respect for other people. I have the pleasure of working for Rooster and the whole McConaughey family at their ranch in Texas and I couldn’t think of better bosses. They truly are genuine people that would help anyone in need. So next time keep it to yourself.

Chad in right, I am ya’ll need to show a little respect. The domestic oil producers catch so much hell for sitting back and getting rich off oil prices but you don’t understand the amount of labor and cost involved. Not to mention the fact that it was’t that long ago that oil prices weren’t even at $5 per barrel and many domestic oil companies went out of business. Oh and the next time you wanna trash talk oil producers because of fuel prices remember we don’t get our fuel for free so we pay the same at the pump as you all do.

Looks like it is going to be a great show. I’m glad to see the hard workin people out there getting some recognition. If you keep your head on straight, the oilpatch isn’t that bad of a place to be, and you can have a good life along the way. The show will as always open the eyes to the general public as to where and how there getting there oil and gas. I wonder if any of the boys on the show will be wearing Rig Ragz Clothing. That would be cool. I think Texas needs a bunch of stores carrying that line of clothing since they run the most drilling rigs in all the USA. Check it out, http://www.rigragz.ca. Lets see it on the show!

EddieJones-you don’t have the common sense God gave a bird. “Evertime high”? What in God’s green earth does that even mean? Your logic is flawed my friend, true these oil field hands can walk away if they feel that they can’t hack it, but the men and women who serve our country proudly knew there was a chance of being put in harm’s way when they enlisted. Most of you folks have no idea what the hell goes on out there in the oil fields. Since this television show is much more pertinent, but assuredly no less entertaining, than say Dangerous Catch; watch it, you might just learn something about this industry.

To EDDIE JONES- this is from the wife of a former marine who is now in the oil business. God bless our troups who in America choose to defend our freedom. I am from a long line of vets (my father, and both grandfathers and father in law) Our men in the oil field also protect our freedom, imagine the war on our soil with out them ? I dare you to view one show and the have the guts to walk a mile in their shoes
DUMB ASS!

THANKS ROOSTER, I HAVE BEEN IN THE OILFIELD FOR 36 YRS NOW. LIKE MY FATHER AND HIS FATHER BEFORE HIM AND SO ON. MY GRANDFATHER RETIRED VICE-PRESIDENT OF A MAJOR OIL COMPANY. HE AND 2 OTHER GENTLEMEN WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR DRILLING THE DISCOVERY WELL IN SAUDI. I ALWAYS WANTED HIM TO DO A BOOK ABOUT HIS LIFE, AS DID MY MOTHER, AND HIS SON. WOULD STILL LOVE FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU TO DO A STORY ABOUT HIS LIFE IN THE OILFIELD. JUST TO SHOW THE PEOPLE OF THIS PART OF THE COUNTRY THE FACTS THAT THEY HAVE NEVER BELIEVED WHEN I TOLD THEM. SOONER OR LATER ON THIS SHOW YOU SHOULD SHOW SOME GOOD GAS WELLS KICKING IF THEY’LL LET YOU ON LOCATION. PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND THE SACRIFICES WE MAKE TO GET OUR JOB DONE. ITS NOT A BASIC 9 TO 5 JOB. ITS 365 DAYS A YEAR, CHRISTMAS, THANKSGIVING, ALL HOLIDAYS ARE JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE OILFIELD TO US. IT TAKES A STRONG WOMEN TO PUT UP WITH A MAN THATS MARRIED TO A DAMN DRILLING RIG. I KNOW FOR SURE, I’VE LOST 2 WIVES TO THE OILFIELD, BUT WORKING 7 DAYS A WEEK MAKES IT TOUGH ON THEM, BUT THATS NOT NEAR AS BAD AS BEING GONE FROM YOUR WIFE AND FAMILY FOR 5 YRS LIKE MY GRANDFATHER WAS WHEN HE WAS STATIONED IN SAUDI. I LOVE THE OILFIELD ITS MADE A GOOD LIFE FOR ME, AND MY 3 SONS. IF THE POLITICIANS WOULD STAY OUT OF IT. IT WOULD BE A LOT BETTER LIFE. RUN ON EM LIKE JUNK IRON MEN, AND BE CAREFUL.

This show is awesome… f*ck all you dainty-Yankees making fun of the Texas Oilmen… they work very hard, they put their lives @ risk, & it’s a whole lot more interesting than watching ridiculous fatty twinks trying to make it across a blob floating in a mud-puddle, or bickering trashy ***** fight over who gets to stay in a mansion while “the man” watches… this is true reality, & I think people should be forced to watch what these men go through to help the gasoline supply that all the couch-potato americans waste in their cars taking trips to mcdonalds after their kids soccer practices… if we weren’t dependent on Saudi oil & were allowed to drill US oil (thanks, environmentalists who are not willing to compromise) & require that all new cars produced from here on out are hybrids (thanks dumbass car companies) then maybe we’d have a solution on our hands!!

Did this ever get off the ground? Don’t remember ever seeing it, but would have been an interesting show.

this is the brother of Matthew and not Owen Wilson
