    BOYS! BOYS! BOY!

Wait one Fing minuet. Have you notice that almost 95% of the celebrities who have given birth lately, have girls? It is said in recent studies that having a girl or a boy is determined by a woman’s food choices prior to getting pregnant. Usually having a girl means that your nutrition and food intake is not complete.

With so many starving women in Hollywood trying to stay thin prior to pregnancy, and many women around the united states copying them, there are going to be so many girls. Anyone who has a boy, they will be a hot commodity. The best way to stay thin is to exercise and make sure to eat right, not starve or limit your food choices.

    Don’t belive me, see http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/04/22/health/webmd/main4036102.shtml?source=RSSattr=Health_4036102

LOVE the name Stella! Ten times better than Honor LOL!

  • NancI

    Cute !! Better then Rumor

  • Cat

Stella is cute but it makes me think of a Street Car Named Desire so I would never name my daughter that. Doreen on the other hand I am not feeling. I like Tori. She seems like a nice person & doesn’t take herself too seriously. For a girl who was born w/ a silver spoon in her mouth she is really down to Earth. I am glad that she is happy & wish her the best.

  • Cat

I just read #5 – that is so true & so funny. You people are good!

  • ewww

its’ cute. better than nahlah or honor.

  • tatum

I like Stella but not Doreen they dont fit

  • bindz

i love the name why couldnt jessica alba name her daughter something like that.

  • me

Glad the baby is doing well. And the name is old fashioned but not bad.

Better than Apple, Honor or Shilo!

  • cait

Stella’s better than some of the other names celebs pick… (Nahla, Honor, etc). I think Stella’s just unique enough to be a celebrity baby name, and just common enough to not be awful!

  • AIMEE

    BOYS! BOYS! BOY\\\

I don tbelieve that to be true. Look at Posh, she has three boys

  • Jennifer W

i love stella its cute and vanessa hudgens sister is stella also at she is so sweet and i love vanessa as well.

  • cait

not to mention, I think “Stella” is very fitting for Tori Spelling. It’s very girly.

  • XxMANAxX

    A normal name! Hallelujah!

  • Jen

Finally a celebrity that actually names their kid something normal…(e.g. Apple, Moses, Suri, Harlow, HONOR, and so on and so on….)

  • Beatrice

    yay

  • eek

HEY STELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dang that us just too much a a blue collar name. I like honor better. It’s more rarified than STELLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Doreen should have been the first name. A very irish name.

  • knowitall

The name Stella reminds me more of a name she would have named one of her dogs, but I agree it’s not as bad as some of the others of late.
Melanie Griffith and Antonio named their daughter Stella some years ago..but she’s cute child…not sure Tori’s girl will be too cute.

  • Mike

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

  • http://aol Patti

Who cares what anyone thinks of the name you gave your daughter. I think it is lovely. If someone had said that “Nicole” which is what I named my daughte, wasn’t good I would have said, “Well, she is mine not yours.

  • Duh

Gender of the baby has to do with whether the sperm gives the egg an X chromosome (making the embryo XX, a girl) or a Y chromosome (making the embryo XY, a boy). It has nothing to do with nutrition, you moron.

  • BAMPZS+2

Stella is a beautiful name. Stella McDermott welcome to the world.
    God protect and guide you

  • Alison

Congrats to them – I don’t mind the name Stella – I like it better than Honor.

  • violette

Don’t really like it – especially with Doreen, it’s a bit old fashioned.

  • sunny

    omg another ugly child

  • Hmmmm

Cute Name, I always like the name Stella.

  • Sandbitch

Tori seems to be getting (a little) less fug with age. Maybe now she has a full time McNanny & hand McMaiden she has more time for McMake-up application.

  • original jpf

I have always loved the name Stella, All at once, it’s strong and feisty yet feminine imo. Not real familiar w/the couple as actors or in real life, but they seem to be a loving/committed parents/family.

  • Alexandria

This name was sometimes used as a wish: might the girl become as beautiful as the light of a star
used as a given name only since around the 16th century AD

So it’s a very old name. She will grow into it eventually.

  • Annika

    I think it’s nice.

Better than calling your daughter Honor, because you’re honored to have the father’s baby.
