Jon Voight has reportedly signed onto the seventh season of 24 to play Jack Bauer’s (Kiefer Sutherland) uber-nemesis who will orchestrate next season’s terrorist threat.

Voight‘s character will first be introduced during 24‘s two-hour Season 7 prequel and will then be featured heavily in the latter half of the season, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

What kind of question is this? Their family affair is their own business.

Sooner or later, Jon is going to meet all of his grandchildren, other Pitts. They are going to have their bond.

As long as, Angie confirms that they make peace, this is the most important part to begin with.

Jon will be great to watch on TV.

He is a wonderful actor and it will be a pleasure to see him in the new series of 24.

Hope he and Angelina can keep their relationship up and at least remain talking, and hopfefully, at some point they feel so comfortable around each other, that he can also act as grandfather around her children, even though he cannot be a father figure to Angie. But at least they have one set of grandparents.

Oh, and by the way, if you have a second to spare, please visit my new blog http://sunnykidstyle.wordpress.com/ about stylish design for kids and feel free to give me some feedback. I’d really appreciate it :):)

Glad to see Jon Voigt again. Thank you for your daughter Angie.

He is a good actor, nice to know he is going to be in ” 24″ which I really like. Angie & John Voight starts talking again & they wanted it to be done quietly so just let it be that way. I’m sure father & daughter are mending their differences. I’m happy for both of them & for James too, their pictures after watching basketball game say it all. They are going to be one happy family again with an addition of Brad & 6 kids, that’s awesome. John is feeling lots of joy . He also must be so proud of how Angie has become.
God bless them.

He is a very good actor. #1 What kind of a question is that? I would not what my dad with me while I give birth. I would rather we just call and give the news. Thats what my husband and I did.

Although they had a turbulent relationship, after all Angie is who she is, partly because of Jon Voight’s legacy as an Oscar winning actor. I hope he doesn’t revert to being a media-happy loose canon, once he gets close to the Jolie-Pitts. I really enjoy him as an actor. Angie got a lot of her physical features from him, a lanky guy with great cheek bones. She is a thoroughbred Oscar movie actor.

Well, I sure hope that he doesn’t end up being one of the villians who tries to kill another black president on MY show. Oh, come to think of it, I think I read somewhere that the next president in the next season of 24 will be a woman. But I don’t think it’ll be a black woman, unless it’s President Palmer’s sister this time. :-)

Anyway, glad to see and hear recently that The Voights are seeking a reconciliation of sorts. It’s about time. It’s just not fair that Brad’s folks get to have the kids all to themselves as grandparents. And, I think — at least I hope — that Jon has learned his lesson regarding flapping his trap spewing negative stuff about his own daughter.

I mean, he’s getting old now and wants to be around his kids and their kids. He’s damn lucky that she has someone like Brad in her life now who is probably encouraging this reunion. And he’s lucky that Angie is most likely influenced by this type of generosity and forgiveness.

Anyhow, I’m wishing all of them the best — even though I’m a little alarmed to read in the EW article that Angie is even considering voting for McCain !! It just doesn’t jibe with her other philisophical sensibilities. But then again, Voight, up until McCain’s win, was backing Republican Giuliani for president. So I’m thinking they could have perhaps bonded over politics. Hmmm.

I don’t know about you folks, but it puts a little tarnish on my girl for me.
But then again, to each his own, I guess. Hope she and Brad do the right thing and go Obama !!

BrangelinaFan @ 06/13/2008 at 10:14 am

I don’t think she has decided either way. She said she is a registered independent. Brad is a democrat also.

But most of all, I think Angie is most interested in GETTING THINGS DONE, and that’s bipartisan. Anywhere the support comes from for the needy, she is willing to embrace it.

McCain is pro-life — Obama is not — that could influence Jolie.

that’s great for Jon Voight

I met him twice,(even though it was for only 30 seconds each both times) very nice guy. :D

I’ll be watching 24, because of Jon.He is one of my favorite actors.
Such a handsome man.

Vi alzar su incierto vuelo
a una pintada mariposa en tanto
i llanto

como si me dijera
quien muertes llora, admire mi alegria
venci a la parca fiera
como mla noche al dia
tres vidas cuenta ya la vida mía

Thank you for posting something about 24. This is my favorite show!
I can not wait for the new season to start. Going on it’s 7th year,.. this show is still by far the best show on TV.
