OlderJames McAvoy is a Wanted Hobbit
James McAvoy attends the film premiere of Wanted at the Mann Village Westwood Theater on Thursday in Los Angeles, California.
The 29-year-old actor was accompanied by his wife, Anne-Marie Duff, 37. The couple met while filming Shameless and was married in October 2006.
James has recently denied reports he is to take the lead role in the new movie version of Lord of the Rings prequel The Hobbit.
“I’m going to not act for a little while and take some space and take some time — and make some ‘me’ time, you know, all that rubbish,” he explained to Radio 1.
“It’s not true,” he said of the The Hobbit rumors. “It’s come off the internet and turned into a story for some reason. There’s not even been a script yet.”

Can’t wait to see ‘Wanted”. He was at Jay Leno last night. The red carpet will be more exciting if Brad & Angie were there but as very pregnant Angie can’t make it, I guess JM is fine to promote the movie but still I am definitely be watching “Wanted” to support Angie. The trailers are all very good & the reviews are all great. God bless.

It seems that he has at least been approached for a role in The Hobbit. Otherwise, how would he know that there wasn’t even a script, yet?
I would like him as Bilbo. He has a good face for the role, and he has the right physical proportions to play the little guy. But he would need to put on a few pounds to appear more ‘hobbity’.

James has the lead. Angelina does not need to be at any premiere since she’s not the star. Besides, all over, the posters feature her on them. That’s more than enough.

It’s the freaking meat locker air conditiong that californians love so much. Freaking 32 degrees it feels like. You have to bring your coat.
Euopeans don’t like Air conditioning and neither do I. Put it high enough to cool and circulate the air but not to make ice cubes.
I met him last Nov at a screening for Atonement. He is adorable in person and such a nice man. Apparently he’s taking a couple years off so he can decompress from the attention he’s been getting as of late and spend time on ‘him’.
