R&B style queen Rihanna sits next to her unofficial beau Chris Brown during the 2008 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Tuesday in Los Angeles.

Rihanna arrived at the BET Awards in style, wearing an eye-catching Giambattista Valli dress.

Here are some more deets about Rihanna‘s shoulder tattoo. It says “IV. LXXXVI”, which is the Roman numeral for 4.86, the date of birth of her best friend. Apparently this best friend of hers is “closer than people from her own family.”
