Ugly Betty regular Christopher Gorham has joined the CBS midseason drama Harper’s Island.
That means the love triangle between Henry (Gorham) and Gio (Freddy Rodriguez) is over! Hunk Val Emmich will have a recurring role of Jesse, a potential new love interest for our braces-boasting gal.
According to THR, Gorham, 33, will play the groom-to be in Harper’s Island, which is a serialized horror story about a group of friends meet on an island off the Seattle coast for a destination wedding.

FIRST! Betty and Gio are cuter as a couple anyway. Besides, his character Henry has a baby.

Kooky, according to Wiki, I think he is. And according to The Hollywood Report, things don’t look to good for Gio lovers out there.
The character off Henry should has been done by end off season 2. The story off Betty’s love triangle is soooooooooooooooooooo boring. Even Vanessa Williams’ line is more interesting- which is an alert when the titled character isn’t the funniest part off the show.
Well great. Now they made me not want to watch Harper’s Island. It would have been amazing with Ryan Merriman but no. They had to screw up the show. Thank you CBS.

Good luck to Chris and his new show. Once they started the triangle there was no where for it to go but to GIO. I hope they let Betty purse the relationship for awhile she and Gio are so cute together. I am
not happy about the new love interest idea though-that doesn’t bode well for this couple.

Yeah, I am glad for Gorham and his new contract with the CBS. Anyway we could always see Henry show up in season 3 and do a few episodes for the fun of it.
Val Emmich doesnt seem like a real threat for new buddying romance of Gio and Betty since he’ll be just in “a few” episodes. But…oh! I just can’t wait to hear about Freddy Rodriguez signing up as regular cast for next season. He was one of the best things of season 2. And Gio and Betty are just hilarious together and they can also make believably romantic scenes (which is not easy to find in nowadays TV).
Can’t wait for season 3 to start!
