Leona Lewis For The Elephant Project

British singing sensation Leona Lewis poses with an elephant stuffed animal in support of The Elephant Project, an organization to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The organization was started by David Niederhoffer, now 18, after his grandfather passed away from Alzheimer’s disease. There is a phrase that says “elephants never forget,” and in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, Niederhoffer is striving for those affected by the disease to “never forget.”

Here’s how it works: Well-known celebrities pose with an elephant beanie baby and sign a special Elephant Project card, which are then auctioned off to raise money to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Each auction package comes with an 8×10 picture of the celebrity and the elephant, a signed card from that celebrity, and an elephant beanie baby. Such celebrities as Zac Efron, Adam Sandler, Julie Andrews, and MANY more have participated in the project. James Marsden, Julianne Moore and Jennifer Garner are pictured below.

Currently, over $11,500 has been raised for Alzheimer’s care, research and support! The Summer 2008 round of Elephant Project auctions began yesterday with five to six auctions going live each day until Sunday, July 27th.

For more information on the auction schedule and how to support the cause, visit ElephantProject.org.

Jennifer Garner looks really weird in that picture and not like herself, even without the make-up.

This girl needs to stop tanning, she looks horrible, to tell you the truth I tan skin only looks good on white people, and she aint white she is mix, you cant play the tan card if your not white, white people want to be tanned because it makes them look good, it bothers me to see mixed people and some black people buy into that whole tan ****, not mistconstrute this guys as being racist, just pointing out the truth

gosh jennifer garner looks so disgusting without makeup. i guess most of these hollywood actresses do without their full makeup!

jennifer garner’s nose looks bigger to me. Is it just me?

13th!!!! What a great project!!!! I will go the website and check out the website. Leona is pretty, but poor Jennifer looks very tired. Of course she is pregnant. I’m glad they use their clout for worthwhile purposes. Another great site, www. clothesoffourback.org { hope thats right }

IN THE SAME DAY , TWO ARTICLES WITH PHOTOS …JENNIFER GARNER HAVE LONG OR SHORT HAIR????i DON’T UNDERSTAND …

I love Rhydian Roberts and the music from Leona Lewis.

The album by Leona Lewis is the greatest, I love her music.

It’s great to see people promote good causes and and visit animal shelters for pet adoption.

The stuffed animal is so cute. Good of her to support the elephant project, and raise awareness for the alzheimer’s association.
