OlderDavid Beckham: I'm Ready For The Olympics!
It was announced last week that footie ace David Beckham will be jetting off to China to participate in the Olympics closing ceremonies representing London — the next city to host the Summer Olympics in 2012.
The 33-year-old soccer stud just blogged about how excited he is to participated in the Beijing closing ceremonies: “The Galaxy have the weekend off, so I’m going to fly to Beijing for the handover ceremony as the Olympic torch is handed to London at the end of the Games. I’m honored to be invited and, as someone who is passionate about the Olympics coming to my home city, I’m incredibly proud to be part of the ceremony on Sunday. I’ll let you know how it goes next week.”
