Happy Birthday, Blake Lively!

Blake Lively celebrates her birthday today, shooting new scenes for Gossip Girl in New York City’s Brooklyn on Monday morning.

The rising actress turns 21 today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BLAKE!

Last night, her Gossip costar Leighton Meester was asked about Blake‘s birthday. She sniffed to NY Mag, “We’re working together early in the morning, so, that’s kind of sad. I’m going to be there right when she’s turning 21.”

And when asked what she’s going to give Blake, Leighton said with a wave of her hand, “That girl has everything.”

Huh? There was nothing wrong with the quotes from Leighton at all. I’m SO sick of people trying to pit them against each other. Are you best friends with all of your co-workers? Doubtful.

i bet leighton was just trying to be cute. for example, it IS sad to be filming on your birthday. and Ed said none of the cast members got him presents for his birthday. Oh, I guess they must ALL HATE HIM.
