Britney Spears heads out for some home decor shopping in Beverly Hills on Monday.

Despite initial rumors that Brit-Brit would possibly perform at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards, her manager recently announced that the singer will not be part of the awards show.

“Britney Spears will not be performing at the VMAs this year. I’m telling you officially and unequivocally,” said manager Larry Rudolf on Ryan Seacrest‘s Los Angeles radio show.

The 26-year-old singer continues to work on her next album and has been working hard in the studio the past few weeks.
