OlderHilary Duff's Dad Gets Jail Time
The father of Hilary Duff and older sister Haylie has been ordered to spend 10 days in jail for violating an injunction against selling assets without court approval.
Hil‘s mother, Susan Duff, also wanted her ex, Bob, to contribute $25,000 to a birthday party and gift for the Duffster. A judge ruled that Bob has to pony up $12,500 for the bash. (This is all part of the ongoing two-and-a-half-year divorce battle the two have been going through.)
Susan also claims Hilary is “emotionally upset by the abandonment of her father” and deserves “to have some kind of recognition for a young life well-lived.”
Neither Hilary, whose 21st birthday is Sept. 28, nor Haylie were in court.

Well it’s not really poor Hills. It’s her mom’s fault who wants that much for a bash and more, her mom has always been known as a hard hoe. I hate her mom she didn’t get confessions of a teenage drama queen because her mom demanded alot of sings like private trailer with huge kitchen plasma tv and other really high demanding things so lindsay lohan got it.

Susan Duff is a hoe, she demanded ober 500,00 dollars for hilary to star in the confessions of a teenage drama queen and a huge trailer with 24/7 butler sevrice for her duaghter disney eventually didn’t want her and got lindsay lohan for the movien part and Hilary Duff’s dad will be spending up to ten days in jail — all because of a fight over cash for Hilary’s birthday party.
According to Houston Chronicle, mama Duff dragged her ex into court today — and this is no joke — to ask for $25,000 to throw a party for Hilary’s 21st birthday — because that’s what they spent on Haylie’s 21st bday two years ago.
After the judge told Bob he had to shell out $12,500 for the bash — he decided to sentence Bob to 10 days in jail for contempt of court for selling assets without court approval to the tune of $367,537.

Ridiculous that judge ,who should be benched, for this put the father in jail because sold some of his asests , without court appointed approval, and did not give the mother $12, 500 for Hillary’s 21st birthday party. Umm ,Hillary Duff is worth tens of millions of dollars. She can afford her own party. She is not a minor so why should the father be held ,by court, to pay this adult’s party. This can really backlash on hillaryDuff and ismaking her look bad in the press.

it’s sad to hear about this, but at least hilary’s mom is fighting for her daughters, and only wants the best for them. for those of you thinking hilary should buy her own gifts and throw her own party, why would ANYONE do that?! do YOU buy your own gifts? No matter how rich you are, when you’re in the business, parents always buy you gifts. and when your parents have money, THEY throw the children parties. hilary’s father has the money, he owns a chain of convenience stores in texas! duh! this is all part of the divorce! the dad is SUPPOSED to give the mom money! in his situation, he has to, and should just give the money. at least hilary’s mom doesn’t have favorites, and wants to be fair w/ the amount of money for birthdays.
