Christina Aguilera performs ‘Keeps Gettin’ Better” at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday.
English comedian Russell Brand will host the event while Britney Spears will be opening up the night with a surprise performance. Kaba Modern and Fanny Pak of America’s Best Dance Crew will battle it out to determine who will present the Best Dancing in a Video award.

Well she obviously didn’t sing live but I guess the dancing was alright. I think she’s a great singer/entertainer but I wasn’t so blown away by this performance.

Xtina just doesn’t have it. The IT factor like brit or madonna had. Sure she’s a great singer but I always thought of her as a mediocore performer. She just doesn’t capture you wanting more I guess.

I definitely want more. I love the direction she is going in. So you can say that she doesn’t leave you wanting more, but that’s certainly not true for me and not for everyone.

I think her performance was the mot enternaining of the night. She kicked Britney right out of the way. I agree this is more something the old Britney would have done. And Pinks Peformance is the 2nd best. The rest like Rihanna was dispointing…

Well….She came off sounding like Britney in the beginning…….again.
She was WAY to big for the outfit….obviously pre baby costume. She should have used a new one and would have looked much better. The crotch shots were gross. The last half of the performance sounded more like her and was the best. She’s a beautiful woman and looked great from the shoulders up. No, I’m not hating on her. Her outfit was way to small. She just had a baby and she could have worn something that made her look better.
Lipsinched the entire thing. What talent is that> Her outfit was not flattering at all.

I wonder if there was lip-singing because that wasn’t even her…it did not look a thing like her. Pulling up the close shots really makes you question if it was a double or something. Seriously people…was it even her? Don’t get me wrong…I am a HUGE fan of hers but I just don’t think it was her.
