OlderTravis Barker, DJ AM Injured in Fatal Plane Crash
Former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM, were injured in a plane crash that killed four people (3 males, 1 female) and critically injured two, NBC News reports.
Both Travis and DJ AM were in critical condition as of Saturday morning and transported to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia.
The FAA said the plane carrying six people was departing from South Carolina’s Columbia Metropolitan Airport headed to Van Nuys, Calif., when an air traffic controller reported seeing sparks. The plane went off the runway and crashed on a nearby road.
Travis performed Friday night at an event with Perry Farrel, Gavin DeGraw, and DJ AM. Earlier this month, Travis and DJ AM were the house band at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Travis, DJ AM, their friends and family.
UPDATE: The deceased are Sarah Lemmon (pilot), James Bland (co-pilot), Chris Baker (Travis’ assistant) and Charles Still (Travis’ bodyguard). Our deepest condolences and sympathies to all of their families and friends.

i was listening to 1010 wins and 4 are dead and travis and the dj are in the burn unit in a georgia hospital.

Oh my god… I swear I am so shocked right now, I really hope they’ll recover quickly. So there were 6 people in the plane and 4 people are dead so they’re the only 2 that survive??

Very delicate time for them. Burns can cause severe shock,dehydration,infection. If they are as bad as i think they are..burns from jet fuel are deadly…then i pray that Adam and Travis pass away quicly with minimal pain. God Bless Them !!!
Wow, this is shocking….MANY BLESSINGS TO Travis and DJ Jam for a quick recovery. My Blessings and condolences go to the families and love ones of those whom have passed on…may they find peace.

Omg, this is so sad. My prayers go out to Travis and DJ AM. I really hope they survive. Also, I offer my condolences to the families of the four persons who passed away. May those who are no longer with us R.I.P. Jeez, I am tearing up.
im a former nurse at the burn unit they are at and i can tell you that if they are listed in critical condition as i hear they are, it is not good. that’s a 50/50 chance of living through the complications of a severe burn. that is the #1 burn unit in the country though so if they are able to be saved, that hospital will save them. I hate to say they are going to have serious complications. My prayers are with them.
