Hayden Panettiere PSA: Vote for McCain

In the latest celebrity PSA, Heroes star Hayden Panettiere sarcastically encourages people to vote for John McCain come election time. Watch the vid below or check out the transcript here:

“Hi, I’m Hayden Panettiere, and I’m hot enough that I know I have your attention for at least 30 seconds. There are three things I think all citizens should do: Smoke cigarettes, vote for John McCain, and don’t wear a seat belt. A vote for McCain is a vote against change. He’ll keep tax breaks for the rich, start another war, and we’ll all probably die. He’s just like George Bush, except older and with a worse temper. Let’s vote for McCain and stay the course. Don’t switch horses midstream. Get an older horse that will take 12 years to cross that stream, ‘cause he’s old. John McCain, he’s had affairs with lobbyists, so you’ll get f—ed, and he’ll get f—ed. Everybody wins. Nobody f—s with McCain.”

omg this girl needs to shut up! Doesn’t she know that people dont want to hear celebrity endorsements of candidates. Encourage people to get to know the issues and which candidate is the best choice for themselves.

you know what, at first it didn’t bother me, but more and more i just find it annoying and frankly unmotivated to watch movies.

    i like her but Says:

honestly, thought that was a tad bit inappropriate. i mean i love the show heroes and all, but speaking as a person who can and will cast a vote this november her video has nothing to do with politics.

honestly, i’m just kinda tired of celebs throwing ridiculous videos like this out there, aside from ultra-sarcasm the video doesn’t even mention any of the issues either let alone talk about one issue seriously.

i’m not pro-mccain either, and i still do like hayden p.

    mousierocks Says:

The kind of people she’s appealing to…well…they’re probably thick enough to actually vote for McCain. Reverse psychology doesn’t quite work on lemmings. They just do as they’re told. And oh yeah, her parents must be so proud to have raised a daughter with a potty mouth. Good job.

    kiki Says:

I can believe sweet little Hayden said the F word……….

    ZERo Says:

Do you people know this site censors comments? Not with foul language or “legitimate” censorship, but the moderator has censored the comments I made (which was just a list of Obama’s connections). Different people’s names.

If I wrote the names, my comment wouldn’t post. And there are more than the ‘recent person’ that has come up recently. About 15 more crooks, Communists, and racists/haters.

That means that this site has flagged some words (probably Obama’s connections) so that the TRUTH does not get through, and you are not exposed to this ‘opinion’. How do you feel about such censorship?

It’s a lot like Obama’s campaign… and the next 4 years if he wins.
    Get used to it.

Be sure to catch that HALF HOUR Big Brother style infommercial Obama and his elitist Democrat backers will be selling on multiple networks 10/29…

    asljda Says:

very sad. I’m sick of politics. I don’t give a **** who wins, just settle it already! It’s so annoyingly everywhere, the process is unnecessarily long. WHO CARES?! americans…

  17. 17
    Courtney Says:

So we should vote for Obama, who is friends with terrorists? Nice, Hayden, thanks idiot. No one gives a **** about what celebrities think, especially you, Hayden. McCain may not be totally different from Bush, but at least we know he isn’t friends with white people haters and terrorists.

  18. 18
    kiki Says:

    oops, I meant I CAN’T

  19. 19
    ZERo Says:

Wow… the magic word was T-rrorist.
    I cannot post that word.

This site is disgusting. I thought liberals were for free speech.

Karl Marx would be so proud!

    lmfao. love it.

    alicecullen Says:

Well I just lost any respect I had for her. I don’t really care whether you’re liberal or conservative, I still find it extremely tacky when celebrities come out and make fun of a candidate, or try to endorse a candidate. Tacky, tacky, tacky.

  22. 22
    asljda Says:

HAHAHAHA. AMERICA, land of the free… MY ASS.

  23. 23
    Reebsy Says:

they are not shoving their opinions down your throat they are encouraging you to get out there and vote! Education is the number one ingredient in a democracy and if you don’t know anything about the candidate how can you make an informed decision? Hey vote for whoever you like, but don’t go around spreading hatred until you can back it up with facts. Sure they may endorse Obama, but hey frankly he is the best and most qualified candidate and if you don’t believe research it. Plus I am sure if you were famous you would be wanting to make a difference as well in the END we are all Americans and we all vote whether famous or not.

  24. 24
    t Says:

haha wow how can anyone disagree with her

  25. 25
    lilah Says:

shes rich why does she care about tax breaks it wont really affect her and celebs need to encourage people to vote not tell us who to vote for we as young adults need to pick who we feel is best for us
