Over the weekend, DeGeneres donated $100,000 to the ‘No on Proposition 8′ campaign to help them fight to defeat the November ballot in California.

The 50-year-old talk-show host recently married her longtime actress girlfriend, Portia de Rossi, soon after same-sex marriage became legal in their state.
