OlderBody of Jennifer Hudson's Nephew Found
The body of Julian King, Jennifer Hudson‘s 7-year-old nephew was discovered Monday in a white SUV on Chicago’s West Side.
Law enforcement sources said that the boy was shot multiple times in the back of the vehicle, with at least one gun shot to the head.
The boy’s stepfather, William Balfour, 27, is currently in the custody of state officials but has not been formally charged.
Our hearts are extended to the entire Hudson family.

When you hear of all the shootings and violence it’s coming from this area. It’s a shame the gangs took over the neighborhood, but when you can, you move out. I’ve been following this story ever since it broke,and my heart just dropped when I heard that precious 7 year old Angel had been found and the manner they found him.
If his stepfather is the person who did this that they have in custody,then he so deserves the death penalty as that’s what he chose for his three victims! He/or whoever made themselves both the judge and jury and nobody has the right to do that. He will answer to his maker one of these days and he will not have no excuse for doing this that’s for sure. Whatever the reason,NO innocent 7 year old child deserved to die!
Jennifer as well as the whole Hudson family are in my heart,thoughts and prayers and may little Julian as well as his Grandmother and Daddy RIP,and may God give Jennifer as well as the rest of the family the courage to deal with this and the strength to go on.

First of all, I also offer my sincere condolences to Jennifer Hudson & her family that such a horrible tragedy happened to them; losing those we love os never easy. But there is a great difference between losing someone to illness or accident & murder or suicide…
But I find myself truly shocked at most of the responses I’ve read here & on other blogs… DON’T ANY OF YOU READ/WATCH THE NEWS!? Domestic violence happens far too often in this world every day. It hits ALL walks of life REGARDLESS of race, religion, nationality, gender & sexual preference, age, etc. – The stories I’ve read have been horrible, sickening… All because one person deems the other expendable for daring to be independent & leave their “owner”. In a lot of cases, the perpetrating kills their loved one (wife/lover), & then themselves.
In rarer cases, the abuser kills family members in order to have their “target” live the rest of their lives grieving the loss for the rest of their lives. Case in point: a husband, angered that his wife divorced him, took their 3 kids & shot them in front of her before taking his own life. When the bodies were found so was the note: “It’s her fault; SHE made me DO IT!”
Again, my sincere condolences to the Hudson family for a tragedy NO ONE should EVER have to go through.
