Rapper Nelly finally opened up to People about his relationship with Ashanti. (They’re been linked since 2003.)
“That’s the thing between me and her, we just like having fun,” he said Sunday at Las Vegas’s Lavo restaurant, where Ford Flex threw him a birthday party to celebrate his 34th.
“I think it’s always serious,” he added, “when you can hang with a person continuously … and [“still”] have fun.”
Ashanti, who couldn’t attend the party because she was in Japan, has said an engagement could “definitely [be] in the future.”

I hope ya’ll know they were already once engaged, broke up as a publicity stunt to promote his new album then got back together. Or they just never broke up rather. I thought we all knew that. This isn’t new…….
