OlderTom Cruise: Suri Won't Wear Pants!
Valkyrie star Tom Cruise sat down last week with Entertainment Tonight in Los Angeles.
On 2-year-old daughter Suri, Tom says she is a complete “girlie girl. She won’t wear pants.”
His wife Katie Holmes even tried! Tom added, Kate finally got her in jeans the other day. We put the pants on and walk away and the pants are off and the dress is on.”
“It was an incredible experience,” Tom says of filming in Germany with director Bryan Singer. “We filmed in actual homes where the Resistance met. It’s a very inspiring story that’s timeless.”

Tom is a weirdo i wish we got to see all of his kids and not just his blood one.
Well, I see Tom has been reading all the criticism about the dresses and now has stepped in to do some PR manipulation about it.

she’s two years old. i have a two year old niece that also will not, repeat not , wear pants. she takes them off. all she will wear are dresses and they have to be either pink or purple. she won’t wear any other colors.

He has just acknowledged that Suri, 2 years has no discipline whatsoever. Her parents can’t have the last word at an age where children don’t even perceive their own gender and what it really means !

Tom and Katie need to understand that she is only 2 years old and in those “terrible twos”. Now is not the time to let her get her way. If she needs to wear pants or stockings…….then, they need to be the parent and eventually she will wear them. I have a 4 year old granddaughter and she did the same thing when we was two. Her mom and dad did not make a big thing of it and if she needed to wear it- they put it back on. After awhile…..she just forgot about “not liking things on her legs”. If you give in to every bratting thing a kid does….eventually he or she will have you all “trained” and wrapped around your finger! LOL

excuses excuses. I guess she’s allowed to eat candies instead of a chicken sandwich because she makes the rules.
If Tom & Katie had dressed her in pants in the first place, she would be used to wearing them and not put up a fuss!!!
What really bothers me is the fact that Tom thinks he is smarter than all of us! He thinks we will buy a story about how it’s not their fault that Suri will not wear pants!

A child does NOT know what’s best for them! Just because Suri is a “girlie girl” and doesn’t care for pants, that’s no excuse for Tom and Katie to allow her to get away with it when the weather is cold.
That’s why children have parents. To make the right decisions for them when they’d don’t know enough to make a good decision themselves.
And please don’t give me that it’s a harmless situation. Allowing a child to run around in a summer dress with nothing on her legs in COLD NEW YORK WEATHER is a poor decision to be blamed on Suri’s incapable and idiotic parents.
Tom is just trying to make excuses for his and Katie’s stupidity based on all the negative comments on the net. I’m sure his PR people troll the net and read all these things. God…..he and his wife are so incredibly ANNOYING. I wish they’d both just go away!

People are only saying that it’s her parents fault if Suri is dressed improperly or grows up to be screwed up….and they are right!

I have a niece who wants to wear dresses all the time too. BUT the difference is that her parents know when to be parents. She must wear pants when it is cold out or when the weather permits, a dress with leggings.
What will Tom and Katie do when Suri demands candy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Will they whine, “But she won’t eat regular food. She just won’t.” –It’s called being a parent and it seems Katie doesn’t know how to be one.
