I think X saw part of CCOBB when she vacationed in Mexico and David Fincher was there. Im sure David was working on editing of Brad’s movie and have shown part of it to Courtney, David and X. Thats she has seen only one hour of the movie not the whole movie.

As I said yesterday – Fincher is friends with the Coquettes. Whatever parts of the movie X saw, she probably saw at their house. That time in Mexico was another of the Coquette vacays that X invited herself on. That’s why the pix of her at the pool with Fincher and the other guy were so damned funny. Because NEITHER of them were paying the least pit of attention to her while she had her bikini top undone, legs and butt hiked up in the air, legs splayed open toward where she knew the ratzi were…the whole nine yards. Fincher acted like she wasn’t even there. I’m sure that irked her….

A small beef.

Okay, I hate to criticize I really do…but I am going to say this…in the last few weeks we all have been VERY VERY VERY fortunate as fans that we’ve seen some icredible Red Carpet, candids, and photo shoots of Angie…I was in the airport terminal over the holidays and saw the stunning STUNNING British Harper’s that is not to be believed it’s just all FACE (close up like Brad’s pics), that’s just to name a few…the NY Film Fest pics in trench and black strapless number from several weeks back, are the second most beautiful pics of Angelina I’ve seen in LIFE the first are those shark’s tale premiere pics of her in the faux leopard trench.

That said – though I appreciate jared’s latest trumpeting Angelina’s achievement, is it possible he could put someone else on PICTURE duty, or REMOVE the person he does have on picture duty, or if it’s him — tell him to slow down, and just pick the best of the best…this is Angelina Jolie honey, you have a treaure trove of beauty to select from….

…there’s no reason why you have to use the same pic (KFP DVD release) for every other thread about Angie.

P.S. is anyone finding that your posts are posting odd – as in looking odd…it used to be I could place spaces in between paragraphs on these boards (to break up subjects, topics and create a better flow – also it increased readability), and LATELY it seems — my whole post runs together. Congrats to Angelina Jolie. She has had quite the year, with the birth of her twins, blockbusters, critical acclaim, Mom of six, Partner to BP and continuing her humanitarian work. Whew!!!! She is an accomplished woman with her feet firmly on the ground. It is good to see her in the Top 25 of the female movers and shakers in Hollywood and the top Actress overall. The DVD piracy excuse for stopping the DVD screeners could have been resolved in other ways than to just stop them completely. I read at the time there were a number of ways they could deal with safeguarding and/or tracking the DVD’s usage.

What a great achievement for Jolie to be among those women all of whom are successful businesswomen. She’s an incredible role model. Every time I see friends daughters decked out in princess nonsense I want to sit them down in front of a Laura Croft video.

No, if anything, best bet is Aniston saw it because Oprah’s studios may have had a copy she screened for the Brad audience (the Oprah audience had seen a screening prior to Brad showing up) — Brad had already been there by the time Aniston showed up to, you know, talk about Angelina for her entire segment. LMAO So my guess is, prior to sitting down with O and rehearsing how she was gonna clean up her sh*t, she took a look – and wanted it shut off before Shiloh made her appearance. There is NO WAY, that woman is stable enough to sit down and enjoy a Brad Pitt experience on film. She just is NOT. It’s clear she has way too many demons.My guess is, Oprah asked if she wanted to take a look/see, Aniston was caught – if she said no it would look weird. So she watched as much as she could take, then excused herself.

Second possibility…like the thousands that are in the Academy she may have as a member, seen the film that way. But I highly doubt it.

So I was in the grocery store today and low and behold X has a “Fresh new start”!

How many times does this woman need to declare she is rebooting her life?

As for the CD piracy thing. It’s a Catch-22 for the Academy. Frankly a lot of the dvds they sent to members ended up on the black market. So the members were shooting themselves in the feet. It’s a little hard to argue when the copies that were showing up in Asia were marked “Not for resale….Academy of Motion Pictur Arts and Sciences…blah blah blah…” My recollection was that some of the Oscar contenders that showed up in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan hadn’t opened here and the dvds had only been sent to Academy members. So it’s a little lame for them to whine about it now. I can see where Indie film makers would have a beef, but at the same time…shouldn’t they be mad at the members for making a profit off their work? Like I said – Catch-22…

I agree with the first part of your post. As for getting married… I don’t know. I have read several times how a couple ties the knot after a long time of successfully living together, and find that it doesn’t work. They suddenly feel pressured, fenced in or whatever, and have to split.
How about tying the knot just to please all the people who want them to, and then, soon after that, split to go on living together as before!!!
If they are already quietly married, just keep it quiet. It’s nobody’s business!

The gorgeous, taut , toned and tanned A-Lister, whose been making the TV and magazine press rounds in support of her upcoming Xmas film, Marley & Me, has been a veritable font of new gripes.

First, she dissed her romantic rival, Angelina Jolie in Vogue’s December cover story — “What Angelina Did Was Very Uncool.” Then she continued to diss the press in the piece for or not understanding that she’s more than just a “tabloid girl” – this “Poor, lonely Jen thing”, and now she’s dissing Vogue itself.

“I was just surprised that Vogue would go so tabloid”, she told Entertainment Weekly, in its extensive new cover feature. ” I was bummed, but you almost expect it, “she whined on.

Don’t you just feel so sorry for poor, hard- done -by Jen? Imagine, for her Vogue cover, she had to sit for renowned fashion photographer, Craig McDean, in a stunning red Narciso Rodriguez gown, and have thousands of dollars worth of hair and makeup styling (almost as much as Sarah Palin). Then SHE actually told her Vogue interviewer that Angelina was uncool, but she’s still a victim. She never expected that the magazine would smartly put her newsstand–friendly remarks on the cover!

Furthermore, Jen then sat on Oprah’s couch and kvetched that Vogue’s cover age of her was “so not in Vogue.”

I really have to congratulate Jen. She’s perpetrated the most fantastic press dissathon circle I’ve ever seen. And it’s extraordinary in its boldness. Does Jen realize that by calling Vogue , a tabloid, that she’s also insulting Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour?2008-12-05-aniston.jpg

Speaking from experience, I can tell Jen that no magazine editor-in-chief wants to hear their publication be referred to as a tabloid. Imagine how Anna feels.

In the world of magazine covers, most actresses would rank a Vogue cover as the pinnacle of their press careers. I can tell you that there are a lot more than 12 female Hollywooders a year who are vying for one of those prestigious monthly slots.

Then Jen, I have to ask you – for someone who drones on about the hardship of life in the public eye — “the way I gauge it is, are there six cars behind me today or not?” she tells Entertainment Weekly, as well as objecting to Team Aniston t-shirts which she derides as catty – WHY do you keep talking at all about Brad and Angelina?

If you really don’t want to be in the headlines, why don’t you zip your lips about your ex and his baby momma. Every time you utter a word about either of them, it fuels the fire, even if you claim magnanimously on that little tv show, Oprah, that you’re now proud of Brad. Have you noticed that Brad never says anything about you publicly?

I suspect Jen, that you are a secret press hound, and wouldn’t have a clue how to really live anonymously just like us. So wouldn’t it be refreshing if you either a) took the Angelina approach of admitting that living with paparazzi is a small price to pay for the benefits of fame and fortune or b) just laughed and admitted, “I love the limelight.”

I agree with the first part of your post. As for getting married… I don’t know. I have read several times how a couple ties the knot after a long time of successfully living together, and find that it doesn’t work. They suddenly feel pressured, fenced in or whatever, and have to split.
How about tying the knot just to please all the people who want them to, and then, soon after that, split to go on living together as before!!!

108 PT, I know you already know this so please bear with me. The thing about the marriage is that most of Angie’s fans are worldwide so a great majority of them are very traditional and conservative. So I’m thinking that is a reason alot of the fans are hoping for a marriage or wedding (especially with her kids). I know we here in the US don’t care too much about such BS piece of paper but you know I understand why fans harp on it so much.

Angelina Jolie tops actress salary list

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Oscar-winner Angelina Jolie has proven again how handsomely it pays to combine gun-wielding action with serious roles, as she topped The Hollywood Reporter’s list of highest-earning actresses on Friday.

But salaries are plummeting for top actresses and still lag the earnings of leading men, the trade paper said.

Jolie, 33, earned $15 million for the action movie “Wanted” this year and she could make $20 million to star in a possible sequel, it said.

Jolie played dramatic roles in 2007′s “A Mighty Heart” and in this year’s “Changeling.” The mother of six and partner of actor Brad Pitt last month talked about eventually fading away from acting to spend more time with her family.

Oscar winner Julia Roberts, 41, claimed the No. 2 spot after a long absence from the screen, making more than $15 million for “Duplicity,” which comes out next year.

Actors are also earning less, with the exception of Will Smith, star of blockbusters “Hancock” and “I Am Legend,” who is riding high with up to $25 million per movie.

“Everyone else’s prices have gone down,” an unidentified talent agent told The Hollywood Reporter.

Reese Witherspoon, 32, who topped the female list last year after winning an Oscar for her role in the 2005 movie “Walk the Line,” dropped to No. 3. She earned $14 million for appearing in the comedy hit “Four Christmases” that opened last week.

Cameron Diaz, Katherine Heigl, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Aniston rounded out the list, with 39-year-old “Friends” star Aniston earning more than $8 million for the comedy “Marley & Me” opening on Christmas Day.

Big stars such as Halle Berry and Nicole Kidman — both Oscar winners — are no longer able to earn $10 million a movie.

Compare that with Pitt and Johnny Depp, who according to The Hollywood Reporter make between $15 million and $20 million per film

Angie truly does deserve an oscar tho but will wait and see. The film Changeling should not be difficult to find at theaters as is now worldwide. If it is not at your theater yet..it will be.

Word is, the on-set chemistry was not ideal. While Crowe is never easy, he and Affleck were supposed to be playing best friends, and they couldn’t stand each other. Poor Macdonald had his hands full. It remains to be seen whether their on-set chill will negatively impact their performances. State of Play is due in April, 2009.

I left a lengthy screed on Huffpo that I had to break into 4 sections. Bonnie Fuller’s got a helluva lot of nerve complaining about the monster SHE helped build. Just so I won’t have to retype my thoughts…here are my posts…

Gosh, Bonnie, it seems to me that as former editor of both Star and US Weekly you better than anyone should know what an outright mediawhore Jennifer Aniston is. Why pussyfoot around it? Call a spade a spade. You have no problem doing that when you’re dissing Angelina Jolie, so why put on the kid gloves with Aniston? Anyone who knows anything about Aniston knows that she and her PR maven, Steven Huvane, have a well-organized M.O. – release a rumor to one tabloid, deny it to another. Aniston routinely tips off the paparazzi to where she’s going to be or to people coming to her homes – specifically the summer of 2007 when she set up Jane Pitt for a photo op at the rented Malibu house she wasn’t living in at the time. The paps were camped outside her Hollywood Hills home and had been for weeks, but suddenly one lucky stiff caught Jane Pitt going into Aniston’s house. Coincidence? Hell no. And when Jane Pitt left the house the pictures clearly showed she was mad as hell at having been set up and after that point, contrary to what your former staff at Star claimed, the Pitts cut Aniston out of their lives for good. And then there are all the beach-side/poolside too-small bikini-ramas we’ve been subjected to these last 4 years.

And finally, for a person who’s made their living much of the last 10 years off perpetuating Aniston’s PR tactics and outright lies, you’ve got a hell of a nerve to tell her to shut up. Aniston’s tactics never change – anytime either Jolie or Pitt has a new interview or film coming out…there’s Aniston, poolside with her legs splayed open, butt hiked in the air giving the paps their money shot for the day. Yet your former employers are American Media Inc. and Wenner Publications fall for it hook, line and sinker EVERY TIME. Calling Aniston a famewhore takes a lot of guts when YOU HELPED CREATE THE MONSTER! If YOU hadn’t willingly participated in her many PR cries for attention the last 10 years then you wouldn’t have any reason to complain about her constant whining about the media, Jolie or anything. You’re the pot calling the kettle black.

BTW – I didn’t even mention Aniston’s little foray to known paparazzi haven The Ivy. For a woman who claims to not want the paps around her, she sure makes an extra effort to be seen! When you have to stoop to going to The Ivy…then you KNOW a celeb is a desperate famewhore grasping at straws. I guess there just weren’t enough paps following her that day. Must’ve been only 2 instead of the 6 she craves.

Also, to the poster who said Aniston doesn’t make a habit of complaining about the media. You must be smoking crack. Go back and read her interviews. Every time she does an interview she complains about being misunderstood in the last one or says the interviewer misrepresented her. My favorite time she did this is when she was asked in a tv interview in early 2003 (notice this is before The Jolie appeared on the scene) if Brad Pitt was “the love of your life”. She calmly answered, “I wouldn’t say he’s THE love…” then realizes what she said and tacks on, “…but certainly A love.” Fastfoward 3 months and she tells a mag interviewer – VF or Harper’s Bazaar – that she didn’t really say that and her words were later twisted by the media. The only thing is…she’s on tape saying it! She backpeddles and whines all the time. Only a Anistons fans are too blind to admit it.

I am so excited, I just received my Architectural Digest in the mail. Brad looks more yummy on the real cover than on the scans. I didn’t know the houses were so spacious. I found out from reading the article that the houses have been altered a little bit at the request of the owners to fit their life style. No wonder they don’t look exactly like the models I saw on the MIR site. Brad is a genious for coming up with this idea to help the people of New Orleans. Well it is good to see that people like Bonnie Fuller who took pleasure in writing negative articles about Angie have finally realized that with Angie what you see is what you get. She is, as her partner Brad says ” very sweet, elegant, with an enormous heart”. She is also super smart as has been noted by many, as well as a very down to earth person by everyone who has worked with her. It is about time that Angie is left to enjoy her loving family without all the outside drama. Brad and Angie are two unique indviduals who were blessed to find each other and raise a family. As for Bonnie Fullers article. I hope she really meant what she wrote. Although I have a feeling that anyone who knows Aniston also knows that what Ms Fuller has written is true.

If you want a few chuckles go over to the IMDB, do a search on “State of Play”…scroll to the bottom and read the forum for the movie. I was ROTFLMAO last week. Apparently a few weeks ago RC was called back for a lot of reshoots. A few people were saying he was unbearable and MacDonald regretted not waiting for Brad. Someone else said that they’d read the script and thought it was great…but that Affleck was clearly all wrong for the role and he was really pissed at Brad for dropping out because after reading the script he felt that Brad & Ed Norton could’ve had some “Fight Club” kind of chemistry going on. Basically…nobody sounded too interested in seeing Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck pretend to be friends. Oh yeah…and they weren’t buying Robin Wright Penn being interested in Fat Russell over Affleck.

Ah…I get you now. Well, I hate to say it because I’m sure I’ll draw some flack for it, but…when has that ever stopped me before? A lot of the people you mentioned live in 2nd and third world countries, which do tend to be a lot more conservative than Europeans. On the whole I’d say they’re about a conservative on marriage and children outside marriage as the Holy Moly Right.

If you want a few chuckles go over to the IMDB, do a search on “State of Play”…scroll to the bottom and read the forum for the movie. I was ROTFLMAO last week. Apparently a few weeks ago RC was called back for a lot of reshoots. A few people were saying he was unbearable and MacDonald regretted not waiting for Brad. Someone else said that they’d read the script and thought it was great…but that Affleck was clearly all wrong for the role and he was really pissed at Brad for dropping out because after reading the script he felt that Brad & Ed Norton could’ve had some “Fight Club” kind of chemistry going on. Basically…nobody sounded too interested in seeing Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck pretend to be friends. Oh yeah…and they weren’t buying Robin Wright Penn being interested in Fat Russell over Affleck.

Kid Rock provided the music while television chefs Antony Worrall Thompson and Ainsley Harriott provided the food.

The party is thought to have been organised by Mr Jenkins’ 36-year-old socialite wife Diana, a Bosnian refugee who previously arranged a Ronnie Scott’s jazz night with Sir Elton John.

She is also credited with introducing her husband to the Qatari prime minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani, who helped bail-out Barclays in October.

UN ambassador Mr Clooney is a well-known for supporting a raft of good causes including the American Foundation for AIDS Research, CARE – the charity for which the former Daily Telegraph editor and columnist Bill Deedes campaigned – and Make Poverty History.

The party was in aid of Not On Our Watch charity, which Mr Clooney set up with his co-stars from the Oceans trilogy Don Cheadle, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.

Angelina Jolie is a phenomenal being. Practically every week something great happens to this woman every tabloids, magazines, envious individuals etc try very hard to destroy. There has to be some higher forces looking out for her. How can you not admire or love her. The thing I find most facinating about her is that she doesn’t even try that hard the way other actresses/actors do, she takes everything easy in a nonchalant way, still the blessings keep heaping on her. All those hating and working very hard to bring her down must be very frustrated by now and for some the repercussions of their evil deeds reverts back to them as they are made a laughing stock or publicly humiliated as liars. Scott Fitzgerald’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” which forms the basis for the new David Fincher movie starring Brad Pitt, originally appeared in Collier’s on May 27, 1922 (earlier the story had been rejected by Metropolitan), and was then featured in Fitzgerald’s second story collection, “Tales of the Jazz Age.”

Fitzgerald was, at the time, the most famous young writer in America, thanks to the smash success of his first novel, “This Side of Paradise,” published in 1920. He’d become the voice of the youthful and disillusioned post- World War I generation, of the exuberant and half-decadent Jazz Age. He wrote with his finger on the pulse of popular culture and with an eye to the nation’s swiftly changing mores.

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” (collected now in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Other Jazz Age Stories,” Penguin Classics, $13) comes, therefore, as a surprise. It’s a piece that’s been little-known until now and probably little-read. The plot, concerning a man who is born old and grows into infancy, is fantasy (a genre into which Fitzgerald ventured rarely, most notably with “The Diamond as Big as the Ritz,” another story from 1922.)

Yet, in other ways, “Benjamin Button” sits squarely in the Fitzgerald canon. Episodes in Benjamin’s backward-running life unfold with finely drawn realism, while gaiety and melancholy mingle in the tone. “No-one disliked the little boy whose fresh, cheerful face was crossed with just a hint of sadness,” Fitzgerald writes of his hero. “His destiny seemed to him awful, incredible.”

Fitzgerald said he got the idea for this story from Mark Twain, but, as Benjamin becomes alienated from his family, and from his own son in particular, the effect comes increasingly to resemble Kafka, or one of the sad, self-enclosed labyrinths created by Jorge Luis Borges.

During Fitzgerald’s short career — he would die in Los Angeles, a broken man, aged only 44, in 1940 — he published more than 160 short stories, an astonishing number, four times as many as that of his friend and rival Ernest Hemingway. A handful of them — “May Day,” “Winter Dreams,” “The Rich Boy” — are the equal of anything in the form. Many others are forgotten. It was into “The Great Gatsby” and “Tender Is the Night,” into his longer fiction, that Fitzgerald poured the heart of his thought and craft. These are among the most scrupulously observed and carefully wrought (in the case of “Tender Is the Night,” perhaps too carefully wrought) of American novels. Over them Fitzgerald labored obsessively, and in them he performed authorial magic, making clear his identification with both the dreamers (Gatsby, **** Diver) who will be destroyed, and those who participate in and observe that destruction.

Right PT!! And Huffpo has some of th most rapid psycho AJ-haters you will ever find. One (“happycat”) actually says she is parent of two small kids, if you can believe that, and claims her hatred comes from Maddox disrupted her kids school in NYC in 2007. They infest every Angelina thread that is posted. Arianna Huffington has used AJ to pimp her site {AJ’s photo was in the banner for 2 years) since she added the entertainment section and she will post any barely significant item about AJ to generate hits.

Duignan, the author of The Complex, a book that claims Scientology members are subjected to sleep deprivation and systematic brainwashing, Tom Cruise is directly responsible for Amazon’s unceremonious yanking of the book from both their UK and American sites.

Five days after The Complex’s release, Tom Cruise paid a visit to the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, supposedly to host a preview of “Valkyrie,” Cruise’s newest movie. Several days after Cruise’s visit, Amazon stopped selling The Complex , saying that the book allegedly makes “false claims” about a Scientologist mentioned in the text.
