OlderEva Mendes & Scarlett Johansson Show Their Spirit
Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes attend the launch party for their upcoming film The Spirit at London’s Old Sorting Office Thursday night.
Scarlett, 23, plays femme fatale secretary Silken Floss, while Eva, 34, portrays Sand Saref, a love interest for The Spirit himself.
Written and directed by Frank Miller, the film is adapted from a classic Will Eisner comic and also stars Gabriel Macht as The Spirit and Samuel L. Jackson as his nemesis, The Octopus.
The Spirit is scheduled for release on December 25th.

Sorry I so prefer Scarlett over Eva. Eva looks like a tranny and she also looks like she’s done something to her face. I understand why Scarlett would not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I do think she is pretty in an unusual way. To me, Eva just struts around like she is something special when she hasn’t even really had a hit movie that was due to her presence nor has she ever been recognised as being notable in a particular role.
Well, I like them both! But they have very different styles.
I actually love Scarlett’s dress – it is a very retro 60s-style dress: silhouette, fabric pattern, belt and so on. If you watch early 60s movies you see girls wearing cute floral dresses like these all the time. The dress suits Scarlett’s curvy figure – she’s an old-fashioned looking girl generally.
And I love Eva’s because the colour flatters her beautiful olive skin and she looks healthy, curvy and glowing. In fact, I love the way both these actresses have meat on their bones and look like real women!
By the way, does anyone know the designer of Scarlett’s dress?
