'Melrose Place' Spin-Off Under Way
The Melrose Place spin-off is well under way.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn is in negotiations to pen the script for the CW.
Former Melroses star Grant Show, aka Jake Hanson, recently told TV Guide that he’s not interested in being involved. He said, “I play golf with one of the executives at the CW, and I was on the 18th green and he was on the 9th. He goes, ‘Hey! Do you want to come on Melrose Place?’ I said, ‘Hey, do you have $150,000 an episode?’ He said no, so I go, ‘There’s your answer!’ … I don’t think I want to do it. I don’t think they need me. I’d just be ‘the old guy’ on the show, and that’s not the kind of thing I want to do. If it was something other than that, maybe I would. ”
WILL YOU WATCH the new Melrose Place spin-off — YAY or NAY?

YAY of course
Those loser actors who want nothing more than to pimp themselves
in the paparazzi camera again..!! The working actors like Doug Savant is on Deserate Housewives..Josie Bissett said No she won’t be back.. And now Grant Show said No! too and Heather Locklear wants to be on Brothers and Sisters.. and Well done tv series..
So go for it the rest than you can pimp yourself out …to the paps..
with Marcia Cross and Doug Savant on Desperate Housewives, Heather Locklear on Brothers and Sisters, Kelly Rutherford on Gossip Girl, Rob Estes on 90210 etc… A lot of them are busy and others don’t want to go back so I guess none of them will return !

Agree. And without those people, the show wouldn’t be the same…
NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
STOP THE REMAKE MADNESS!!!
Grant Show! He was on “Swingtown” and those fools at CBS are not going to renew it! That was by far his best work. Good for him to turn down such a knuckle-headed idea about a Melrose Revamp–soooo stupid.
Geez, what’s next Falcon Crest, Dynasty, McGyver, or Chip’s? When does this crap end? I mean if the younger generation want to create a show, hell tell them to put on their thinking caps and come up with a new idea. That’s sounds interesting to me.
Recycled diarrhea. Mmm yum.
‘Course I’ll watch it, but Mark Schwahn can’t dump One Tree Hill because of this:p
The original episodes were very good! YAY!
Wonder if Aaron Spellings widow will get paid for using Aarons
tv series…LOVE BOAT OR HART TO HART SHOULD BE NEXT
MORE AARON SPELLING TV SERIES..
What ever happened to creativity? Please stop recycling these old shows and come up with something new.
Rob Estes isn’t leaving 90210 it’s just starting to take off. As for Mark Schwahn let me just say I’m a Brucas from OTH and he killed every single thing that was great about OTH we lost Jake, umm Lucas has been a contrary prick, Naley are back burned, Deb is lost, Skillz &Bevin another fan fav gone… oh and the character of Brooke Davis has been run over many times …all of this just to promote Peyton Sawyer played by Hilarie Burton, it’s a shame that she had to play this role, she even stated she hates the character she plays on OTH, whiny, pathetic, did I mention whiny always w/ her “People Always Leave” sayings, isn’t her punk rock persona anymore and doesn’t draw. If your a fan of keeping your favorite pairings over the writer’s favorite you won’t like Mark, if your in favor of WTF and a bit of drama but w/ confusion then you’ll love him. If your a fan of a character’s trait being thier staple you’ll hate him, if not you’ll love him.
Only if Ms. Woodward returns!
