Brad Pitt - Cute as a Benjamin Button

Brad Pitt - Cute as a Benjamin Button

Brad Pitt gets a write-up in the L.A. Times on Tuesday for his upcoming film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The article primarily speaks about the film’s focus on the concept of time with producer Kathleen Kennedy commenting, “It’s not about a life lived forward or backward, it’s about a life lived well. It forces you to confront the choices that you’ve made along the way.” TCCOBB deals with the main character, Benjmain Buttton (Pitt), who ages backwards with strange consequences.

Brad added, “I was actually quite intrigued to see where it might be heading. I doubt time and gravity will be as kind as I was to myself. It just made me think about the ticking clock. Am I in mid-life? Am I halfway there?…Do I have 10 years, five years? And so what are those moments going to be that I do know I have, which is now?”

For the stupid troll who keeps going on about Brad being in Berlin until next Saturday
Thickly wrapped in a black down jacket, superstar Brad Pitt (44) leaves the Italian restaurant Papa Pane di Sorrento.
There he enjoyed a Cola light and a pizza. Today (12/17) ater the final party for the shoot he will go back to the US, where tomorrow he’ll celebrate his 45th birthday.…itt-wieder-in-berlin.html

Poor old stupid, DJ…foiled again. Brad’s probably half way back to the US by now. Hehehehehehehehe…ya gotta love it…

  • chris

yes brad, we all go back to mother earth, we better do something while we can, otherwise you will regret and blame yourself that you did not do anything while you have a chance.

  • sharah

Brad Pitt is becoming an inspiring character navigating his own life. Though we know only a micro-spec of what he is really like, I want to believe he lives with honor and operates with a curious intention of the world.

Thanks Jared for the new thread!!!

even his azz that shitzy was longing …….looks gorgeous!jared….i luv u dude!

  • Ashley

The movie looks pretty interesting, I might see it. But Pitt really isn’t attractive anymore, And the facial hair make him look worse :/

  • lsam

This movie is about life and how we make choices. Brad made a big choice diference having his new family. What a lucky guy. Yes, he has depth and perspective. I must see this movie.

  • Helen

I prefer that Angie be nominated over Cate….a 5th nomination in 4 years would be too much, besides the race is too crowded and even though Cate is Cate, I just don’t think her role in BB is as leading as it is supporting,….I know she is co lead, but the central figure is Brad….whom SHOULD BE nominated.

Not having too much hope for either of them, there is just so much jealously in HW.

  • yoyo

    I’ve done him.

  • Ashley Banks

I agree with Ashley, but the movie doesn’t even look interesting to me. I will pay for a ticket though because I want his movie to pummel Marley.

  • Ashley Banks

Button gonna run right over Marley.

Cliniqua, I said a couple of months ago that I was smelling a divorce for Gwyneth’s marriage. How does a couple, with 2 children spends so much time apart from each other and she is filming a show traveling in the Spanish countryside? without her husband…I don’t remember if they were even together at Cannes.

  • bdj

The troll is not very bright but persistent. It is truly a shame for hens to play these games. BP and AJ have enough fans trolls, no need for the divide and conquer. Go support ole girl.

err no I didn’t forget to change my name. I am Ashley Banks and I was agreeing with ASHLEY. use your brain.

No, Im not ‘Ashley Banks’ in a different Ashley. Its not a very unique name.

Is getting rare nowadays but you know, some actors DO change their looks to make movies and have a good performance…
Honestly, I’m so tired of people criticizing his look, EVEN KNOWING that is because of the movie… ¬¬

    But anyway…

This movie will be great! Can’t wait to watch it! And I’ll buy the DVD as well! :D This one is memorable!

Maniston really had a bad influence on brad because she is a bad actress. Only good actress has great influence on brad. when he dated gwen he got a GG and now with angie he got nominated for a GG. when he was with jen he didn’t get anything. that’s show he didn’t make a mistake leaving Maniston.

  • missy

    Ms. PT,
May I ask you sumpin’? Few threads back you mentioned that you didn’t like almost all of BP’s co-star except for the “Mrs.” and Cate(?). If you’re to produce a movie for BP who’ll you pair him with? I like romatic/comedy flick (don’t hate me, lol). I you’re going to remake “Sleepless in Seattle” (my fave) with BP, who is your Meg Ryan? And do you see BP as Odysseus (love this story) in Greek Myth? Thanks.

Make It Right Welcomes Residents Back Home for the Holidays

    Dear Make It Right Community,

This holiday season we are celebrating the return of families into new Make It Right homes in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans.

In honor of those families and the many supporters who helped us reach this milestone, we want to say thank you on behalf of the Make It Right community. You have helped make this a very special holiday season for families who lost so much during Hurricane Katrina.
For former residents of the Lower 9th Ward still trying to return home, this is why Make It Right exists. More than three years after Hurricane Katrina, many residents of this community are still displaced and struggling to rebuild their lives. We started the Make It Right Foundation to provide a hand up to those families who desire to return home and to help preserve the unique culture, heritage and spirit of the Lower 9th Ward.

With your generous support, we can continue to rebuild a neighborhood of safe, sustainable, and affordable homes in one of the hardest hit communities in Louisiana.

    Thank You and Happy Holidays,
    Tom Darden
    Executive Director

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation: Care to Learn Fund

Foundation’s gift to schoolchildren grows to $250,000
    News-Leader staff • December 16, 2008

A $50,000 gift to buy emergency needs for Springfield Public Schools children has become a $250,000 gift, instead, with a match from the Jolie-Pitt Foundation and other philanthropists.

St. John’s Clinic physicians and co-workers raised the first $50,000 through their Force for Good campaign, directing to the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools’ Care to Learn fund, officials announced today at St. John’s.

The $200,000 match, which will be available in April, was offered by the founders of the Care to Learn fund.

Local businessman Doug Pitt, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation (which includes actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt); local philanthropist Jim D. Morris and a private donor started the Care to Learn fund with the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools to support schools and students in meeting basic needs.

The needs can include food, health care and hygiene products. The fund so far has provided staple items such as underwear, socks and other personal hygiene supplies to 300 students in schools throughout the district, according to a St. John’s news release.

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation, Morris and the private donor match every donation the fund receives 4 to 1 up to $50,000, the news release said.

“Care To Learn is about immediate funding for emergency needs that are disrupting their classroom experience, Doug Pitt said.

“Upon meeting those needs, my greatest satisfaction is restoring a child’s respect and dignity to walk amongst their peers.”

Care to Learn has provided 2,880 backpacks of food from September through December, said Nancy Fazzino, executive director for Springfield Public Schools Foundation.

Since the program began last year, it has provided vouchers for: 69 pairs of pants/jeans and sweaters, 41 packages of socks and underwear, 35 hygiene products, 20 pairs of shoes, 70 coats, 15 pairs of gloves and 15 winter hats.

The fund has also processed 150 bus vouchers used for emergency bus transportation and to transport the families to Wal-Mart to redeem the vouchers if they do not have a car or are unable to afford transportation.

“In the past two months we have seen an increase in the number of voucher requests from the schools, Fazzino said. “Care to Learn has truly made a difference in the lives of our most vulnerable students.

“I cannot say enough about how wonderful this fund has been and will continue to be. All of our schools have pockets of poverty, some more concentrated than others, but not one is immune,” she said.

“This fund makes it possible to help those children directly and discreetly. The main thing is these children come to school feeling good about themselves and ready to learn on a more level playing field because their most basic needs are being met,” Fazzino said.

“With all that is going on with the economy, I predict an increase in the need in the near future. As I review the requests, almost without exception the requests we have received in the last couple of weeks were due to parents losing their jobs or hours being cut. This fund is a true blessing for our children.”

The Care to Learn project was a natural choice for St. John’s Clinic’s Force for Good, said Donn Sorensen, St. John’s Health System executive vice president.

“It’s troubling to see what some of the kids in our community are going through,” said Sorensen. “We felt the Care to Learn program was a very worthy beneficiary of our Force for Good efforts because it helps kids immediately when they need clothing, food or other necessities.”

Since it began in 2003, the Force for Good, a fund within St. John’s Foundation for Community Health, has raised more than $600,000 for local charities. Funds come from personal donations of physicians and staff and from fundraising activities such as bake sales and special events.

In December 2007, St. John’s Clinic Force for Good was chosen as the winner of the 15th annual Modern Healthcare Magazine Community Spirit of Excellence Award. The Spirit of Excellence Award honors organizations and individuals that go beyond what is expected in serving their patients and communities.
