Carrie Underwood hits the red carpet in a strapless Naeem Khan gown at the 2009 People’s Choice Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday (January 7) in Los Angeles.
During the ceremony, the 25-year-old American Idol alum will perform her ballad, “I Know You Won’t,” complete with a full orchestra. “It’s a really emotional song about a guy who just wont call. We’ve all had that happen, right?” she told People.
Carrie is rumored to be dating hockey hottie Mike Fisher.
UPDATE: Carrie picked up three PCAs — Favorite Star Under 35, Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Country Song (“Last Name”).

She is seriously so beautiful. Everytime I see her, I think Tony Romo must be blind and/or stupid to pick J.Simpson over Carrie.

She is such a hypocrite! When she sang “Jesus Take the Wheel” she was talking about how good of a Christian she is. Then when she done the video for “Before He Cheats” she said she wanted to protect her image so she refused to be shown messing up the boys car in the video. Then what does she do? She releases a single called “Last Name.” If you haven’t heard the song then you should look up the lyrics. She is such a hypocrite! Can’t stand her!

#3 is the reason Carrie Underwood had to release disclaimers for her fun songs like “Last Name” and “Before he cheats” saying they don’t come from real life experiences and they were made just for fun.
She has an amazing voice, I had the privledge of seeing her live in Edmonton and she sounds even better in person. I love when someone sounds just as good or better live than they do on CD.
last time I checked, you don’t have to be a ‘goody-goody’ or perfect to be a Christian. Jesus said, “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone..” So I don’t really see how that song makes her a hypocrite. She’s actually just saying a lot of people make that dumb mistake of going out to a bar and drinking too much, going home with a guy they don’t know, etc. I’m not sure she’s condoning the behavior but rather saying it was a dumb mistake.
