    To Oh my:
I realize that you’re probably one of those crazy ramblers that travels from forum to forum saying bad things about any and everything, but you clearly don’t pay attention to Kelly’s career if you think she hasn’t “matured”. My December and even to an extent Breakaway show her mature side, the raw, emotional, and uncensored Kelly. The media just decided to portray My December as this bitter, bad album that no one wanted to hear, when in fact the album is probably one of the most underrated albums of this decade.
I don’t think people will appreciate her artistic talent until after they hear her poppier songs from this album. After all, people can’t have it both ways. They whine when she does pop, yet they whine when she actually does a serious, artistic effort as well.
Personally, I like a blend of both…. which is what I think she’s aiming for with this album.

Kelly has most definitely matured since way back on her debut album. If you can’t tell the difference from a song on her debut album compared to anything on My December, you need your hearing checked. Plain and simple.

My December was very good to people that like real music and bad to people that listen to nothing but whatever MTV tells you to listen to. Now I realize Kelly gets played on MTV, but the majority of her songs actually have substance.

F*ck MTV and their laughable attempts to pass off certain crap as one of my favorite genres, hip-hop/rap. Soulja Boy? GTFO of here.

Kelly is an amazing artists with tons of talent. I think that she has surpassed what was expected of her in the music industry and has personified herself as a true artist. I also think it’s wonderful that she has stuck around to make a 4th CD. I hope ti does well and I can’t wait to buy it! March 17th

That is so airbrushed it really may as well be painted. Don’t see the point of using cameras to begin with in her case, if they’re gonna go this far with the fakery.

The only problem I have is that she might just be pandering to those that were detractors of her last album. I don’t get why lamenting over a forsaken love is a bad formula for a song, album. (Sure, I’ll admit, it all seemed dark, from what I heard…so what!) Not everything can be freaking ‘peaches and cream.’ All artists have a blue period.

    Otherwise, I’ve always been a fan…rock on.

I just read the lyrics – it’s to f**kin’ Clive Davis. Oh my GOD. ::taken back with laughter::

Don’t give in, your art is yours. You didn’t fail.

    Oi.

    SamanthA Says:

Okay. I absolutely love this song! It’s not Katy Perry. It’s not what we’re used to with Kelly’s music but it’s absolutely kick a**. It’s pop, it’s dancy it’s fun. Which is what is what’s ‘in’ musically now. Clive Davis wants money. I still love it. she still sounds absolutely amazing. GO KELLY!!
