Katie Holmes is featured in Miu Miu‘s spring/summer 2009 campaign, which shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in New York last November.
The 30-year-old actress rocks out one of Miuccia Prada‘s graffiti-spattered day dresses in the ad, which was supposed to depict a “luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality.”
UK’s Vogue explains the look was inspired by the films of Italian film director Federico Fellini.

Nice, but very generic looking. Any young model off the street could have given us that look. Most people won’t even know it’s Katie so Miu Miu will have wasted a lot of $$ on baseless advertising.

go away already!! Being a such a huge star does nt she have an obligation to look GREAT ALL the time. I mean she CAN HIRE A stylist!!! and all we see her is looking haggard in dowdy sweaters. I mean being the focus of media and cameras she has a responsibility to give us delight for our eyes!! SHE WAS SOO CUTE AND STYLISH BEFORE TC!! and now hideous and boooring! and when she tries…..ALWAYS TRYING way toooo HARD!
This ad is soo not important and inconsequential…boooorrrrriiinnnnnngg. The only thing left to do to reignite her image and career is to get nude in an indie film….you ll see……so desperate. NO ONE CARES!!
