Brad can’t leave those kids alone with her…he’s gotta be careful and say what she tells him to say.
    *********************************************************************************************

Have you completely lost your fcuking mind? Now you have to hate on Brad because he wanted to have children with Angie instead of Aniston. Who in hell do you think has those kids while he’s off filming?

You think he should have had kids with Aniston? Honey, NOBODY wants to have kids with Aniston. What kind of mother would she make? She wouldn’t haul her ass off her yoga mat long enough to change their diapers.

Awww how sweet……they got nominated for awards they won’t win.
    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Are they the only ones or are you a loon just passing by spewing your haterade
    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Is this only a 2 way contest the JPitts vs the rest of the nominees. If the JP lost, they are lousy actor, cannot win award, they cannot act that why they lost etc etc. Are they the only people who are nominated that cannot win. They are the only loser.
If Ledger is still around, I believe that he will not be winning all the awards. he is good and so is the others nominated. It was a close fight but he got the nod becaause he got some compassionate vote. Jack Nicholson was a good joker as well in the Batman series. So was the guy who act as the penguin. They act very well in their role.
BP was better than Cruise in his comedy role in BAR.
Look waht happen to Henry Fonda. Hw won in On gOlden Pond which was not his best role.
An actor know his own worth best. By giving his best performance he feel proud about. Winning is the consolation price.
So the JP. If you feel that you have given the best you do not need award to prove it. Both movies show that you both are good actors.
CONGRAT To YR FINE PERFORMANCE and hope that you will select good scripts and give us good movies to watch.

well you know the JENHAGS .. they put the JPs above the rest, for them specially ANGELINA is the ultimate “IT” girl that’s why they scrutinize every small details of Angelina’s picture, action and every sentence that they read in her interviews. That’s how obsess they are with THE JOLIE. They don’t even visit their idol’s thread well coz you know it’s just so BORING to talk nothing but just her body and her boobs.. No substance whatsoever but with Angelina wow you can talk about her non stop coz she’s just not body or that gorgeous face, Angelina got it all – brain, beauty, talent, compasion, gorgeous kids humanitarina , etc. etc. etc. no wonder the hags are so jealous.

Is this only a 2 way contest the JPitts vs the rest of the nominees.

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>

That’s why the JPs OWN these losies’ asses. Everything is compared with Angelina and/or Brad. Even in a competition for 4 or 5 other nominees, the losies are obsessed with whether it was Angelina and/or Brad who got beaten.

    -

Do the losies actually care who else was up for the award??

    -

    OBVIOUSLY NOT!!
    -

    Why not you ask?

    -

Because when Brad and Angelina are around, no one else actually matters to the losies. Not clint or leo or meryl or anne etc etc.
    -

Brad and Angelina are the GOLD STANDARD, the Reference against which winner is measured against. If Kate won, its because she’s better than Angelina, quite forgetting that Angelina must have been pretty damn good to be Kate’s ONLY competitor worth remembering.

    -

But, ya know, this point is just too subtle for a losie to grasp.

Geez, everyone gets what a gossip site is about but it appears as if no one can have an opinion that differs from some of the posters here. I personally think the JP’s are beautiful, but they seem to have ugly hearted “fans”. I bet they are embarrassed!!

    ##############

My point is that you chastise posters here as if they don’t know that they don’t personally know these celebs. Of course they know this. They don’t need you to tell them that.
    .
It has nothing to do with differing opinions. My complaint to you is that you act as if everyone is stupid and naive except you. Trust me we don’t go around pretending we know the truth about these people from looking at photos or 2 seconds on a youtube clip. That’s the MO of those who want to trash talk the JPs.
    .
But I think we do know certain things from the record – humanitarian activites, how they appear to live their lives, their treatment of others whether in the industry or in their volunteer work, for example. There are some things you CAN know. But pretending to know what they think or ascribing all kinds of nonsensical evil to either of these people is better left to the lunatics at Female First, D Listed and the other haunts of the terminally deranged.
    .
Now you may not have meant to come off condescending to other posters but you did. Insults to other posters does not fall under the category of a “difference of opinion.”

Congratulations to them both! They deserve to be nominated for all possible awards there is this season. I saw Changeling recently and I really liked it. It was absolutely Angelilna´s strongest performance ever! The story was so touching that I cried many times during the movie. If she doesn´t win any awards for this touching role I´ll be really disappointed! Haven´t seen TCCOBB yet but most definitely gonna watch it. Hopefully they´ll attend the BAFTA Awards on Feb 8. And they sure will since they´ll probably stay in Europe until Angie starts to shoot Salt in late February.

THe bashing just cheapens everything the JP’s are trying to accomplish. It makes them and their fans look spiteful and petty. IMO, a true JP fan wouldn’t want negative connotations connected with all of the good the JP’s are doing. That’s all.

    Clint’s bond with ‘daughter’ Angelina
    Clint’s bond with ‘daughter’ Angelina
Clint Eastwood has a special bond with Angelina Jolie
    pa.press.net
Clint Eastwood has described Angelina Jolie as his “surrogate daughter”.
The screen legend said the star – who he directed in Oscar-tipped movie Changeling – was a “great humanitarian” and a “great talent”.
Speaking on the red carpet at the National Board of Review Awards Gala in New York, Clint said of Angelina: “She is the greatest.”
The actor and filmmaker went on: “She is a wonderful girl and a great talent. She is a great humanitarian – she does a lot of work for various charities. I have great admiration for her.”
Asked if he felt he a special bond with Angelina, who has a brood of six kids with her partner Brad Pitt, Clint replied: “Yes I do.”
He continued: “She is a surrogate daughter.”
Clint picked up the award for best actor for his role in Gran Torino at the National Board of Review Awards.
Angelina received a Golden Globe nomination for Changeling, which sees her playing a mother who fights for justice after police return a boy they claim is her missing son.

    http://www.cphpost.dk/in-a-out-guide/in-a-out-guide/44449-another-masterpiece-from-eastwood.html

Once in a while a film stirs a commotion long before it reaches the cinemas. Such is the case with Changeling. There have been debates about how many Academy Awards the movie is going to win and many have been discussing the acting abilities of Angelina Jolie – as if she needed to prove she is more than the world’s sexiest woman. Jolie is a very good actress, and her beauty – which shines especially in this film, set in the 1920s, tenhanced by the great costumes and make-up – might be a burden in her profession. As for the film, the truth is that Changeling is a very good one indeed, even though it is not perfect. What is perfect is the story it tells.

Changeling was written by geek icon J. Michael Straczynski, who created the cult sci-fi series Babylon 5. This is his first feature film script to make it to the big screen. But the same elements are apparent here as well, most notably his sure hand at constructing a narrative that covers a lot of ground with few wasted moments. As each new turn in this mystery is revealed, the film always seems on the verge of spiraling out of control, but Straczynski skilfully keeps the various balls in the air.

He’s helped in that department by the film’s director and star, who also have little patience for distractions. One of the least showy filmmakers in Hollywood, Eastwood’s preference for clean frames is an appropriate counterpoint to the busy plot. As for Jolie, she repeatedly cuts to the emotional heart of every scene. No doubt drawing on her own experiences as a mother, she convincingly shows us how Christine’s desperation leaves her susceptible to the cops’ suggestions that she’s the one who has made a mistake, and then the ferocity necessary to take her case all the way to the city council. All in all, a memorable piece that might secure another Oscar for beautiful Angelina.

Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture

    Billy DaMota, Casting Director

‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Obviously, the stars of David Fincher’s cinematic telling of the F. Scott Fitzgerald short story “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” are Brad Pitt as the title character and Cate Blanchett as his soul mate, Daisy. But this spellbinding fairy tale — beautifully adapted by Oscar winner Eric Roth — requires much more than just A-list power to paint its haunting picture.

Pitt’s quiet, curious Ben is a lovely contrast and complement to Blanchett’s evolving Daisy, who moves from entranced to impetuous to fearful to content with ease. Pitt’s chemistry with Henson and Harris is natural, with Blanchett and Swinton electric. Never boring even at nearly three hours, this exploration of living and dying hovers in the psyche long after the credits roll.

Tribune critic names his favorite DVDs of 2008

By PATRICK DOUGLAS • For the Tribune • January 16, 2009

My gosh, 2008 was a great year to rent a movie. Whether you drove to your favorite video store, visited a RedBox or stayed home and waited for the Netflix discs to arrive, you couldn’t complain, “There’s nothing good to watch.”

“The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford”: Aside from having a really long title, this movie was a mixture of great dramatic acting and History Channel-esque narration. Brad Pitt is incredible as the mentally tormented Jesse James and Casey Affleck shines in the role of the fidgety Robert Ford. A must-see for anyone interested in the more personal side of the old West.

    ‘Benjamin’ hits the right buttons
By: Danny Gottleib /The Daily Cardinal – January 15, 2009

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is an engrossing, though lengthy, film based loosely on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Brad Pitt as Benjamin Button leads a cast that delivers several stellar performances by experienced actors, including Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton

Nothing lasts, except love. That’s the moral of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” and throughout the nearly three-hour experience, the film attempts to show the impermanence of life, the importance of love and the freakiness of an arthritic baby.

This is not to suggest that the movie is all visual tricks. The story is character-driven at its heart, and all the actors do their part to bring this improbable tale to life. Brad Pitt is, of course, excellent at every age, and he brings a surprising amount of humor to the overall depressing film.

Similarly, Cate Blanchett gives Daisy a certain charm, and is almost unrecognizable on her deathbed while telling Benjamin’s story to her daughter. Relative newcomer Taraji P. Henson is perfect as the mother who takes Benjamin in, looking past his disgusting looks as an elderly baby. And Tilda Swinton is heartbreaking as an unhappily married, “plain-looking” woman Benjamin has a brief affair with in Russia who has a much larger impact on his life than expected.

    I am a bad liar @ 01/16/2009 at 7:49 am Inside Angie, Brad & Jen’s Game of ‘He-Said, She-Said’

    ###################

Wow. What’s the link to this bunch of malarky? The writer doesn’t even know that Mr and Mrs Smith filmed until March, even April 2005. The last scene of the movie wasn’t even completed until then.

The writer doesn’t even know about the much photographed filming that took place in Intaly in October 2004.

Finally, the writer doesn’t even know the real quote by Angelina Jolie that the kids will enjoy seeing a movie where their parents “fall in love and try to kill each other.” The writer just repeats the incorrect and taken out of context truncated quote spread in the tabloids.

Twisting the truth into a pretzel to serve whose purpose?

    YOU are a bad liar.

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” is a film about human life in its various forms, shapes, sizes, lengths and colors. With its unique main character and a wondrous performer, we are able to see life as something that is not associated with time or other physical variables. It proves that life is better understood through the love, hardship and joy it brings to us each day.

Inevitably, there is so much an audience can take away from a story like this. As a film that spans through life and death, “Benjamin Button” applies to nearly every age of life, bringing us closer to understanding our own. As time goes by in our own lives, this film is sure to remain an important tale. Assuming you’re willing to withstand its overlong runtime, the story could take on new meaning throughout repeated viewings.

Depicted from a screenplay by “Forrest Gump” screenwriter, Eric Roth, “Benjamin” is similar in its spanning of decades and historical references. How it stands alone is through its unique representation of significant events. We have learned so much about human life through movies that nearly every moment of history has been preserved through their magic. It’s stories like “Benjamin Button” that can touch every aspect of a person’s life with a message that’s not only timeless, but truly influential as well.

    Hey JP fans!

I see we have censors here trying to tell us who and what we should talk about. We must all be so deranged! :)

No need to be worried, censors – the posters here on JJ are strong-minded, well informed and independent thinkers. Here, you will find wit, humour, sarcasm, analysis, etc. – the full spectrum of humanity. We don’t agree on everything but we have our enjoyment and admiration for the Jolie Pitt family in common.

And don’t worry about what the JPs would think of us. They’re smart enough to know that with the massive fan base they have, their fans are of all colours, opinions and personalities.

One thing you will find here is not just speculation, but FACTS and information, as opposed to tabloid misinformation and entertainment show rubbish, such as “Who’s more popular, the Jolie Pitts or the Obamas?”

With the mainstream media becoming more and more unreliable is it any wonder that people seek alternate means of getting info and discussion on their interests and hobbies?

The triangle, the triangle, the triangle….and on and on it goes!

It may be that the Bermuda triangle will cease to have its regular meaning and become solely associated with these three people!

The thing is, whenever you see Brad and Angelina together, so happy and fulfilled, you realize how truly irrelevant his ex is to their lives. His interviewer was of the view that Brad thinks about his past loves a lot less than the public does. They haven’t had time to talk about BB, let alone dwell on his ex.

Yet, 4 years later, talk of the triangle continues. It’s gone past beating a dead horse – the horsemeat has been processed, eaten and digested by the dog!

Please let X get married this year!!

    # 281 Brad is a bad liar @ 01/16/2009 at 7:49 am Inside Angie, Brad & Jen’s Game of ‘He-Said, She-Said’

While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went through their red carpet paces as king and queen of the red carpet at the Golden Globes awards ceremony in L.A. on Jan. 11 — kissing, cuddling and demonstrating their affection to the benefit of peers and fans — the ex Mrs. Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, spent the first awards show weekend of 2009 conspicuously out of sight, stepping out only to attend a Beverly Hills charity fund-raiser for Feeding America on Jan. 9.

But while the trio may go out of their way to avoid each other in public, they seem to have no problem confronting each other head-on in interviews. Indeed, rather than refrain from the topic, Brad, Angelina and Jennifer seem obsessed with discussing their infamous Bermuda love triangle and each’s personal version of when Brad and Angie first hooked up. So, we gotta ask, Who’s telling the truth?

Brad, 45, is the most recent pot-stirrer. “What people don’t understand is that we filmed [Mr. & Mrs. Smith] for a year,” he says in the Feb. issue of W Magazine. “We were still filming after Jen and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean there was some kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the way it was handled. It was respectful.”

Might want to check your calendar Brad! He and Jen, 39, announced their split in a jointly issued statement on Jan. 7, 2005, just days after they returned from their trip to Anguilla. But Mr. & Mrs. Smith wrapped principal photography on May 5, 2004! Re-shoots went well into the summer, but even they were completed long before Brad and Jen separated.

If Angelina, 33, was ever obtuse about her feelings on the matter, she cleared things up when she told the New York Times last Oct. 15, “Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love.”

And then there’s Jen’s infamous quote in the Dec. issue of GQ in which she said, “I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she [Angelina] couldn’t wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool.”
For the entire scoop on Brad, Angelina and Jen’s “he-said, she said”, pick up the new issue of OK! — on newsstands everywhere now!

    —————————

Why do some insist on trying to make out like Brad would be so dumb as to claim publically something as true if not true and set himself up to public ridicule??????!!!!!!! He has no reason to lie, and you and that stupid tabloid are the math challenged. The movie reshoots did not end until March of 05, and that is the end of story.

Also, all these people acting themselves obtuse by turning Angies words into some admission of a affair when all she is saying is that, it was on the movie emotions developed. That dosnt mean even Brad knew how she felt, and it dosnt mean she was aware he caared for her to ain that way. Angie even say she didn’t realize how she was excited to go to work and I think I once read that it was others who pointed out to her she was falling for him. What ever the case, that still does not mean that either acknowledge to the other feelings, and Jennifer Aniston is just as stupid if she takes Angies words out of context like that.. When did saying you fell in love with someone automatically translate into meaning “we had affair?”

Why do fanistons keep saying that Angelina has mental illness, when it is their idol who has been in therapy for going on 20 years and IS STILL ACTING CHILDISH AND IMMATURE for someone on the threshhold of 40? I’m pretty sure even Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, and heck, Britney, will be acting their age when they reach 40.

Wow, these a big statements from Clint – calling Angelina his surrogate daughter. There’s clearly a lot of affection and respect from him to her.

    I loooooveeeeeee Angie…..

Good gosh, when are these two going to move to France and get out of the celebrity life?

I mean come on Jolie; how many times do we have to hear over and over how you’re going to stop acting. You’ve said it like 3 or 4 times in the span of several years and it still isn’t happening.

HERE’S A CLUE-WE DON’T BUY THE “take care of my babies” crap anymore. You should have done that when you adopted Pax.

I doubt they’ll win at the Brtitish awards. The British are a lot smarter than that.
