Is it a new trick? Try to stir thing and try to change some confirmed fact? What’s up with these new comments about Angie being sad and depressed? I saw this kind of comment over at Pittwatch too? What’s up? Are they trying to change the fact that not only Angie was happy during GG , But also Brad was super hot for her. They were all over each other. Why some comments here and on other blog are trying to change this fact? About Angie at Critic’s award. I read somewhere , she just had arrived that morning with jet and she probably just had jet lagged. Brad on the other hand was in L.A two day earlier and he looked more relaxed. She looked like she had a jet lagged , and she was tired , other than that , they both looked happy during Critics award as well. I saw during the show , in couple of occasion , Brad put his arm around Angie during Critics award but haven’t seen any picture of it.

I hope Kate W. trophies will not make her head bigger. She is still not on Angie’s level. Angie is the best.

The haters are hating because their idol Jennifer Aniston was recognized for exposing herself to the whole world, not by her acting. To be named “Woman of the Year” just because of that is so sad and pathetic.People abroad must be wondering what has America been thinking off.It is really laughable!

Well I must say I’m 38 with two children 18 and 14. I’ve also been married almost 15 years, I’m also a business owner of 13 years. I really admire Angelina and Brad. No homewrecker here and neither is Angelina, please don’t assume the people who like Angelina are no good because some of us just don’t buy into Jen’s bs lies. If I for one minute really believed Angelina was at fault for ruining such a happy marriage I would be no fan.

Interesting that in this video that guli posted that the media noticed how Angelina had about 10 minutes on the red carpet and was basically hustled into the theatre.

    -

I noticed in the Ross the intern video that Geyer Kosinski was holding Angelina’s hand whilst Brad was temporarily unavailable and leading her off somewhere.

After so many years as Angelina’s manager its obvious the level of trust and real friendship between Angelina and Geyer.

    -

Despite the fact that Angelina is pretty tough, I can’t help noticing that both Brad and Geyer are really protective of Angelina.

HAI Omnistat2 Thermostats Donated to Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation

HAI’s ENERGY STAR Omnistat2 Thermostat to be Installed in 150 Make it Right Homes
New Orleans-based HAI (Home Automation, Inc.) announced their donation of 150 ENERGY STAR Omnistat2 Thermostats to Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation, which was launched in December of 2007 to build 150 affordable, sustainable homes in New Orleans’ Lower 9th Ward for residents impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

“HAI just completed its most successful sales year ever in 2008. We are happy to be in a position to help promote energy efficiency while being able to lend support for those needing help in our own backyard,” says Jay McLellan, HAI President. “The Omnistat2 programmable thermostats help to reduce bills and allow homeowners to view weekly usage levels of their A/C and heating units. The simple programming feature lets homeowners pre-set temperatures for different times and days of the week, based upon their needs. We see the ENERGY STAR Omnistat2 thermostat as a perfect fit for eco-friendly homeowners.”

“On behalf of the Make It Right Foundation, we are thrilled to be part of HAI’s endeavors,” says Tom Darden, Executive Director of the Make It Right Foundation. “We rely on the support of organizations like HAI and cannot thank them enough for helping us to rebuild our great city. We are proud to be working with companies all over the world, but it’s especially beneficial when a quality local company like HAI is able to participate.”

The movie is beautifully made with glorious cinematography, a subtle but haunting musical score, seamless CGI special effects, and wonderful performances from the star studded cast. And no wonder, given how long it took to be produced. Loosely adapted from a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the film began development in 1994 with Tom Cruise and John Travolta set to star at various stages.

It’s a truly special film; quirky, magical and bursting with sincerity. A rarity today, where cliché ridden Hollywood stinkers reign supreme.

As Benjamin notes, nothing lasts. This is perhaps a meditation on the fleeting nature of youth or life itself. But through his travels and accompanying adventures, he lives his life with a dignified fearlessness that is truly inspiring. Maybe because he knows, better than most could, the precious gifts that youth, and life, truly are.

Check out BB this weekend. Great Movie

Director David Fincher flawlessly weaves many elements and characters into a seamless three hours that feels much shorter. Capturing the romance and mystery of New Orleans, Fincher makes use of the bayous, brothels and vibrant culture to encapsulate its grimy intrigue and appeal. He turns simple events such as a boat on water, a kiss or a casual conversation into a majestic happenstance ripe with deeper meaning.

Pitt embraces the role, first playing an elderly man with all of the physical maladies of age while capturing the wonderment and joy of discovery associated with youth. Later, as he continues to age backward, he shifts gears and presents the physical prowess and exuberance of youth while offering the burdened continence of a man with knowledge seemingly beyond his years.

Cate Blanchett plays Daisy, Benjamin’s love interest, who flits in and out of his life while remaining an omnipresent influence. While Blanchett graces the screen with timeless elegance and easily captures the role of Daisy, an aspiring ballet dancer, it is not until late in the film, after her character sheds the shallow aloofness of her youth and lays bare her true compassion, that the audience is able to warm up to her.

Taraji P. Henson gives a strong supporting portrayal of Queenie, Benjamin’s circumstantial mother. Henson does a superb job of exemplifying the tenderness of a maternal figure with a constant saucy wit that lends humour to a film that is often laden with loneliness.
