OlderJamie Foxx & Jake Gyllenhaal: Music Video Buddies
Jamie Foxx calls upon a few of his most famous friends in Hollywood to star in the music video for his new single “Blame It”, off his latest album Intuition (out now).
The 41-year-old singer was joined by Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker, Samuel L. Jackson, director Ron Howard, Cedric the Entertainer and Quincy Jones.
The vid was directed by Hype Williams, who most recently did Kanye West‘s “Heartless” and Coldplay‘s “Vida La Vida.” It will premiere the week of Feb. 9.

How has no one commented on the fact that Ron Howard is in the vid. I think they made me love it even more by putting him in there. Ron should have directed it, would’ve been awesome, ;)
They’re not doing it for publicity, none of them need it NoName. Maybe they’re all just good friends and they wanna have fun. At least the vid is somewhat legit, instead of stupid and corny like the Miley and Mandy show.
On first picture he looks like Godfather…

May, I don’t see how appearing in a music video that will be aired on multiple musical channels, featuring their images for a song that will also be linked with them does not qualify as publicity.
I’m not a Jamie Foxx fan but it seems like he flipped through his phone book to grab whomever he thought was famous five seconds ago to throw into his video.

Jake looks awesome and it is cool that he is in a video with with so many cool celebs. Can’t wait to see the video.

He looks ridiculous like the rest of them, apart from Jamie Fox. Jake and the others don’t fit in a rap video at all, I’ll wait to see the video, but he looks silly there. All those people together make a strange combination and the association with that type of music is cero.I like the song,though.

AT ONE POINT IN THE BOOK HE SAYS THAT WHILE ACTORS ARE IN THERE TRAILERS SHOOTING A MOVIE OR WHATEVER, THEY KNOW THAT ORDINARY PEOPLE ARE OUTSIDE WAITING FOR THEM. WONDERING ABOUT THEM AND ENVYING THEM. BASICALLY HE SAYS THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH ACTORS PRENTEND OTHERWISE, THEY KNOW THAT THEY’RE IN THIER TRAILER’S AND WE’RE OUT HERE AND THEY LIKE IT THAT WAY.

I don’t know him either but I have the decency not to judge someone who just seems to be living his life.
