Jesse Metcalfe: Sexy Back?

Former Desperate Housewives gardener Jesse Metcalfe and British student Madeline, 20, throw a football around at a Los Angeles park on Saturday (January 31).

At one point, Jesse, 30, went shirtless and showed off his Paul Frank underwear and three of his tattoos. Here are a few details of them:

– On his back, a Celtic cross
– On his right tricep, “IX LIVES” (nine lives)
– On his left arm, a naked woman with wings lassoing a giant cartoon heart

Speaking to the last tattoo, Jesse has said, “Everyone has had their heart broken but this is just a reminder not to let it happen again. I went through a hard break-up. Every tattoo is a memory. It doesn’t mean you are staying in that moment or obsessing about it. I chose to get that tattoo, especially with the heart on the arm, because I choose to wear my heart on my sleeve. It fits with my personality. I really couldn’t be happier with the tattoo. It’s the best I have.”
