Katherine Heigl and BFF costar T.R. Knight are hanging up their scrubs and leaving Grey’s Anatomy.
“Yes, she is [leaving],” co-star James Pickens Jr. (Dr. Richard Webber) tells Us Weekly. “Wherever Katherine goes, I wish her nothing but the best. [TR Knight's] going too. He just wanted to pursue other career paths.”
“Right now, the whole thing is in the hands of their agents and ABC’s lawyers,” an insider tells EW. “Something will probably be worked out soon, but it’s a safe bet that Katherine and T.R. won’t be returning as series regulars next season.”

These two are so ungrateful!! If it wasnt for Grey’s nobody would know who they are!! Plus he is an idiot for quitting, her career is doing okay outside of Grey’s but he has nothing going on!!
umm i think T.R. should get over himself…cause he is the type of actor that is never going to work again after greys…at least katherine has a shot at a movie career, T.R. is nothing but a male couger…haha…well now since he won’t be working anymore, he won’t have to pay somebody to babysit his boyfriend, he could just do it himself…haha sorry but i don’t like T.R. Knight, he’s a diva, and he was NOTHING before greys and shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds him.
Maybe I’ll start watching again.

haha without Kate Walsh, Katie Heigl it won’t be the same, the show goes down, well I liked George but I stopped like him somewhere in the end of season 3 so I don’t mind, but I guess I won’t have any reason to watch this show. I used to love GA but I don’t think that they can save it.
season 4 is not so good, and season 5 started to be good maybe around episode 10, not a good score

Sounds like it’s either not a great work environment, or a bunch of diva actors on set. You don’t want to be there, go…but don’t assume your movie career will soar. This is what David Caruso did with NYPD Blue…yes, he’s on CSI: MIami now, but it took his career a loooooong time to recover from what his ego was after.
