Amy Adams: Care Bear Stare!

Amy Adams may be America’s Sweetheart but she tells BlackBook Magazine in its latest issue that she’s not so innocent.

The 34-year-old actress addressed the “Care Bears” nature of her press, saying, “These are the kind of things I hate when I read them. I am so just like anyone else. It is interesting to be perceived as innocent. Innocent of what? I’m certainly not naïve… I misbehave. I just do it in private.”

Her costar Embeth Davidtz added, “The sweet girl in Junebug is not who Amy really is. Amy’s much naughtier than anyone I know. I can’t give you examples because they are so beyond X-rated. She’s got the wickedest sense of humor and says what nobody else would think to say.”

Amy plays Amelia Earhart in May’s Night at the Museum 2, and addressed what her costuming is like: “Tight jodhpurs. It’s going to be an Amy Adams butt show. I was like, That’s a lot of information. I’m not known for showing my ass on camera, but there it is.”

Amy Adams and Isla Fisher look a like. When you look at the photo
you think you were looking at Isla.

What’s wrong with being the innocent girl? All these Hollywood girls feel the need to be the bad girl. I get tired of listening to it…can’t we have a few girls who actually have good morals, and are genuinely good people!

# 5

she is not isla fisher????? they look a like!!!!!!!

# 6

I thought that was Isla Fisher

# 7

I ALWAYS confuse her with Isla Fisher

# 8

I can always tell them apart. I think they are two of the hottest red heads ive seen & hope to see them together in a movie.

How can you guys get Isla and Amy mixed? It’s only because they have the same hair color. It’s like getting Chace Crawford and Zac Efron mixed up, and it’s easy to tell them apart. And besides, doesn’t Amy have blue eyes and Isla have brown eyes???

I don’t think Amy wants to be perceived as a bad girl as much as she wants to make it clear she’s not Giselle from Enchanted or Ashley from Junebug-in other words, that she’s not always this bubbly little angel. She’s a human who has bad days and likes to let loose and have fun, just like the rest of us. I just love her-regardless of how she wants to be perceived, you can tell she’s a genuine, kind hearted person.

As for getting her confused with Isla Fisher-the only reason that happens is because they are both up-and-coming actresses of the same age with the same hair color and length. Facially speaking, they look nothing alike.

I aleays mix up Amy and’s weirddd

Isla Fisher always

I love Amy Adams! She is beautiful and talented. I love Isla as well though. I have never confused the two either.

Speak for yourself, #10

she’s very beautiful.

I love this girl, she is a great actress also is her brother
Dax from tmz? does anybody know?

She's beautiful @ 02/12/2009 at 9:18 pm

But I don’t get why all these actresses who ARE talented feel they must
be on the I’m a bad girl if that makes them more viable as an actress…what’s wrong with being perceived as a normal no drama person…And of course every one of them has to do a sexually provocative cover?? Why?

The problem is that if Hollywood girls are precieved as good girls, people will call them prudes, say they’re too innocent or fake and secretly despise them for being too “perfect”. Then the minute they mess up, even if it’s just a little, those same people will jump down their throats and never let them live it down. It’s much easier for them to just silence any innocent talk and sell themselves as regular people. That way, when they do mess up, and they always do, people are less likely to get on their case about it.

looks like she grabbed her curtains and made herself a “dress”
