Miley Cyrus looks stunning in a silver Zuhair Murhad gown as she arrives at the 2009 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (February 22).
The 16-year-old Hannah Montana starlet completed her red carpet look with a Mary Norton clutch, Neil Lane jewels and BCBG shoes. Miley‘s animated flick, Bolt, is nominated for Best Animated Feature.
Hugh Jackman is hosting the 2009 Oscars. Performers for the night also include: Anne Hathaway, Beyoncé, Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens and Amanda Seyfried & Dominic Cooper.

at first, I thought the dress was ugly. but it’s actually really pretty! it’s a bit over the top, but she looks nice and it doesn’t look too old on her.

Better dress than I have seen her wear before. BUT, that is to much cleavage for a 16 year old.
personally i am not a fan of the dress, the bottom looks weird. But Miley looks good. I think the dress suits her, the hair, the makeup…totally works! Come to think of it, I like the second pic, from the waist up. It is the Academy, its where you have to stand out and MIley definitely stands out.
Don’t care about the girl, only commenting cos it’s the 1st Oscar thread but the actor Oscar has to go to Mickey Rourke tonight just so we can get his acceptance speech. Just saw his speech form the Spirit Awards & it was so bloody funny, Hollywood needs his kind of self-deprecation & attitude. I just want him to show up & be a hot mess in front of everyone, to show how silly holding this award show in such high regard is.
