Drew Barrymore to Direct Eclipse?

Drew Barrymore rocks out a ripped pair of jeans as she and her yellow lab Flossie make their way to The Post Group offices in Hollywood on Thursday (February 26).

The 34-year-old single actress wore Union Jack sneakers and matching red finger nail polish.

Drew is rumored to direct Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight series. According to EW, Summit Entertainment has been looking to lock in a director for the film and Drew is in the running! She just finished her directorial debut, Whip It! starring Ellen Page. 15+ pics inside…

1 & 2. What is it that you have against Drew? Have you seen her direct or are you just so quickly to judge? I love drew & I think she’s good at whatever she does because she puts 100 percent in it, If she does get it she is full aware of the fan base and would know not to screw it up. She’s not stupid and incompetent like some of you think she is.

I really like Drew as an actress, but I don’t think she’s ready to take this sort of project on as a director yet. She just doesn’t have enough behind the camera experience to really do a project of this magnitude justice.

You can do and accomplish anything you want including directing. Not just anyone has the metal to take this nonsense and still be good. I know you do because your made of teflon.

And as for stupid, I’d never taken a stupid breath before all of this, but it seems I can’t be intelligent to save my life anymore.

I’m relieved I’m not going to be anywhere near that place.
