Michelle Obama: Official White House Portrait

Check out the official portrait of First Lady Michelle Obama (in Michael Kors) taken in the Blue Room of The White House in Washington in this February 2009 photo released by The White House.

Other pictures include Michelle in a emerald green Kai Milla silk chiffon dress making opening remarks as she and President Barack Obama host an evening of celebration in the East Room of the White House on Wednesday (February 25) in Washington, DC. The couple hosted the event in honor of musician Stevie Wonder‘s receipt of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song.

She’s what I guess would be called a “handsome” woman. Nice body, but the face…kind of manly. I don’t think we’ve had a really pretty first lady, though, since Jackie Kennedy.

P.S. If that’s the real “official” picture, I wonder if we’ll hear complaints from African Americans that they lightened her skin, like they complained when the tabloids did it. Because, she’s several shades darker than that picture.
