Kate Walsh Goes Grocery Shopping

Kate Walsh does some grocery shopping on Sunday (March 1) at Mayfair in Hollywood, Calif.

The 41-year-old Private Practice star recently opened up to Redbook magazine about her recent divorce from Alex Young. Kate said people would be surprised to know that, “I second-guess myself all the time. I make a decision and then wonder if I made the wrong choice. I go to bed and worry, Did I think I was being funny and I insulted someone? Sometimes I come off as confident, but really I am a quivering little wharf rat underneath who is radically insecure and deeply in need of love and understanding.”

Kate also revealed that she would like to start a family of her own one day. “One of my favorite parts of the show is that we get to work with babies every episode. I don’t know if it’s a woman thing – to want to nurture something and also give back – but one of the things I have gotten into is volunteering at hospitals in L.A., helping with the infants who need human contact.”
