Last night, I was lucky enough to catch the 41-year-old actress in her Broadway debut as ever-loving Adelaide in the revival of the Broadway musical. Her character doesn’t come into her own until the second act, where the show picks up and Lauren strips down to her skivvies. Ohlala!

oh I wish I could go…it’s my fave musical! Have seen the production 4 times when it was on in London. Would so love to see Lauren take on Adelaide :)

Des Mcnuff is very well know in San Diego at La Jolla Playhouse. When New York gets tired of Guy and Dolls, bring it down to La Jolla Play house , with its entire cast. We will welcome the production with open arms. I would love to see it. She is a very talented actress, and is very enterntianing on talk shows, and very intelligent- she has her masters from SMU. I love all the movies she has been in, Birds of Paradise was excellent. Gilmore Girls was a great show.
