Matt Damon Makes a Difference

Matt Damon takes a break from filming and sports a Springbok tracksuit for his new movie Human Factor in Cape Town, South Africa. The movie, expected to hit theaters in December, looks at Nelson Mandela‘s attempts to unify South Africa after apartheid, focusing on the Springboks’ 1995 Rugby World Cup triumph. The film also stars Morgan Freeman as Mandela, and is being directed by Clint Eastwood.

Earlier this week, the Bourne Identity star donned a helmet and hopped on a bicycle to take part in the annual Cape Argus Cycle Tour. Damon, 38, cycled along side his brother Kyle and Springbok hero Francois Pienaar during the March 8,2009 race. Proceeds of the race were donated to the Make a Difference (MAD) charity.
