Robert Pattinson Covers GQ April 2009

Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson heats up the April 2009 cover of GQ Magazine. Here are some fun excerpts from the interview:

On his rumored girlfriend: “There’s literally not a single [true] story that could be written about me. I never do anything. There’s this thing about my supposed girlfriend. There’s this one girl who’s consistently mentioned. It’s like, ‘He’s dating this Brazilian model.’ What’s her name—-Annelyse. I’ve never met her.”

On being romantically involved with Camilla Belle, who is dating Joe Jonas: “That’s the funniest [rumor]. No. I mean, yeah, yeah, I’m friends with Camilla… It’s funny, though, because I met her at her place the other day, and there’s a security gate, and even the security woman—I guess she knows that Camilla lives there, and she was like, ‘Oooh!’ …I mean, Camilla’s the nicest—she’s a saint. And it’s funny that she’s being portrayed as this home wrecker. She’s literally the most unlikely person to be a home wrecker. It’s just ridiculous.”

On his new period film, Little Ashes, in which he plays a young Salvador Dali: “I thought I’d never get another acting job again. So I was like, ‘Yeah—why not try to do something weird?’ There’s all these gay sex scenes. And y’know, I haven’t even done a sex scene with a girl, in my whole career… And here I am, with Javier [Beltrán], who plays Lorca, doing an extremely hard-core sex scene, where I have a nervous breakdown afterward. And because we’re both straight, what we were doing seemed kind of ridiculous.”

On any last comments: “Okay, (deep breath) I f—ed Joe Jonas. I love him.”

Rob’s photos are fabulous!!! The facial hair is definitely sexy and his look is so natural. Rob doesn’t have to try too hard to get his message across. His interview in GQ is hilarious. He seems so real, a “What-you-see-is what-you-get” kinda guy. No hypocrisy at all. I hope his manager and movie producers gets to read this. I think Rob should get more acting projects. He’s very talented and versatile. He can be the next Johnny Depp, and makes a great James Bond, or the next Wolverine.

A flat faced commom guy with no acting skills whatsoever in a garbage movie taken from a cheesy book. That´s why he´s grounded. At least he admits he is a fraud. I hope all this nonsense ends quite soon.

For the longest time I have always wanted to become a famous writer. I am only 22 years old, so like my fellow aged companions out there, if we want the lime light of life, we still have the time now. But that time can be cut short when you least expect it. Even though everyone between the ages of 20-25 are considered adults, that doesn’t mean that every person in this age bracket are all striving for the spotlight nor would they have the capabilities to become what it is that they want to be. Some of us don’t want it, while others do. It takes a lot of courage and inner strength in order to do what this man, Robert Thomas-Pattinson, does everyday when dealing with these crazed lunatics. Yes, yes, I do understand the hype that’s been built up around this series. Do you remember when Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and all the other greats came out within the past 9 years and hit the box office? This same frenzy started and the poor actors and actresses where bombarded day after day from publicists, paparazzi, crazed fans, and the like. All they really is just a jolly big group of stark raving mad people who care only of destroying someone’s life, sell them for a profit, or they could be genuine in their work and are trying to capture the beauty in the moment. What is wrong with corporations and companies now a day, who sell people for a living!? I’m sadden as an American to see this British bloke get sold back and forth like some piece of pricy furniture that everyone wants to sit on. Wouldn’t this be considered a new age slave trade? Is nothing sacred anymore? An by scared I mean something that is cherished and kept safe out of harms way, but it seems to me that you people on these websites don’t give a flying **** about how you can make someone else feel. Why don’t you try standing in front of thousands of people, while you’re already scared enough, shaking in your boots, having people scream at you to the point where you can’t hear your own thoughts! Do you think you could bloody compose yourself for that long in front of all these blood thirsty and, unknowingly, horny premateens who, most likely, don’t even understand what an ****** is yet! South Park’s episode, “The Ungroundable,” hit the fan market of present day society on the head. Still they stand there screaming their bloody heads off, practically wetting themselves because the newest piece of Hollywood’s freshest meat is being waved in front of them like hungry dogs at a meat market. I empathize with Robert more than I have with any other celebrity. I was once that age when Nsync and the Backstreet Boys was the music scenes hottest thing and yes I was once a screaming fan myself, so I do have the best view from both sides. I can understand the yearning of wanting to see a person that’s popular and just a few seconds touch in a crowd of thousands could make your life worth living. I understand that perceptive along with the view of how I think people should treat everyone else. It doesn’t matter what your career is, believes, opinions, likes, dislikes and etc. We should all respect every aspect of our fellow man. One of the main reasons I even took the time to write this entry was mainly in response to this person’s post who was disgusted with the fact that one of the photos for the GQ article has him smoking in one. Being a smoker myself, I take offense to this statement. Yes, have your opinion, but don’t off the bat judge someone because of a substance that they are pictured doing or have around them. I haven’t found any information that he is a smoker and there are no other pictures or articles alike that share these facts. Jumping to conclusions and posting a smart ass remark online, is not something that a respectable human being would do. As a fellow citizen of planet earth and mankind alike, I stand up for the right to choose whatever it is that you want to do with your life. If you want to smoke, then smoke. If you want to do nothing with your life, have at it, but don’t be an ignorant fool and blurt out whatever you see fit. Have some common sense and think before you speak. Robert is contracted to do what he does and if you understand the entertainment industry then you need to be accepting and roll with it. It is absurd that during this article Robert had to defend himself for taking a Valium. Oh no! Scary prescription drugs that are made to calm people down in high stress situations. For the sake of your fellow man and the common good, cut the guy some slack. Keep you arrogant, self centered, judgmental “posts” and “comments” to yourselves. I am more than thrilled to see a fellow may baby and 22 year old make their way to the top. It gives me the courage and insight to know that there is always a chance that you can do what you want if you really try. So ladies and gents, please let’s lay off the slander and ridicule. Is it really necessary to speak such negativity about another person?

It doesn’t matter who they are or what they do, everyone is the same as you. Every person you meet every day could turn out to become a star, CEO, lobbyist, president or maybe a murder. Which side do you want to be on? “Thanks for the candy.”-Dane Cook, Creepy Guy at Work. Think before you speak. Common sense and virtue will get you far in life, if you understand what that even means.
