Jake Gyllenhaal Serves Up Global Green

Jake Gyllenhaal lends a helping hand in building a garden during Green Service Day at Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles last month.

He joined Global Green USA President Matt Petersen for the launch of the National Green Schools Initiative.

The 28-year-old actor spoke about his experience, saying, “What I learned is that something like this is possible. There are so many things that I’ve thought of [including making] gardens like this. I had always thought this is possible on a mass scale. This is possible within a massive city like Los Angeles!”

Don’t miss Matt Petersen’s message, it’s important to teach kids by example.

I’m still a bit peeved he and Reese traveled with a private jet back to the US from Europe. That wasn’t very environment friendly.

Private jet was very PUBLICITY friendly, and that is the only important and true thing about “Reese and Jake”.

I don’t think traveling by private jet gets you much publicity, sweetie. If you want to be seen you travel by a normal jet. BTW, I doubt she cares much if you think she is environmentally friendly. I suspect she doesn’t give a f**k about any enviroment except what is around her.

OK. I just listened to that video. Is Jake retarded? Seriously. He sounded like a 12 year old. Or the Dustin Hoffman character in Rain Man. LOLOL! Maybe he was stoned. He sounds like he is in a daze or something. Vacant.
