OlderJames McAvoy's Empire Is Expanding
James McAvoy picks up the award for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Superhero award for his latest thriller, Wanted, during the Jameson Empire Awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Sunday (March 29) in London.
The Dark Knight took home Best Film, Best Director for Christopher Nolan and Best Actor for Christian Bale. Quantum of Solace won Best Thriller, and Bond girl Gemma Arterton took home Best Newcomer. Best British Film went to Guy Ritchie and the RocknRolla crew. Helena Bonham-Carter took Best Actress for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and Best Soundtrack went to Mamma Mia! and the guys from ABBA.

James McAvoy is my favorite actor and I think he is probably one of the best actors in the business today. HOWEVER, he looks really, really tired and rough in these photos. I am looking forward to seeing THE LAST STATION when it is released later this year. I still read rumors that he is being considered for the role of Bilbo Baggins in the movie THE HOBBIT. Sure hope those rumors turn out to be true — he does justice to any role he plays. Great actor….
