Kings of Leon Cover Rolling Stone

Rockers Kings of Leon take the latest cover of Rolling Stone and are dubbed by the mag as “the God-fearing, booze-swilling rise of America’s hottest band.”

You can check out the video from the cover shoot featuring brothers Jared, Caleb and Nathan Followill as well as cousin Matthew Followill at RollingStone.com.

Frontman Caleb commented on the RS cover, saying, “It’s one of those things I’m pretty sure will sink in down the road, like, holy s—.”

KoL also take you inside their Nashville homes in this gallery. There’s also a cute gallery of baby photos of the gang also at RS.

How does their new album suck? You sound like one of those people who think “Oh now they’re in the public eye and are mainstream, they suck!”

I’ve been a fan of them for years, hopefully they won’t get overexposed, despite the songs Use Somebody and Sex on Fire are overplayed. I’m so glad Revelry is rarely played on the radio. I don’t want to hate that song, too.

Anwyay, it’s good to finally see something music-related on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Love their sound, hate their uneducated, ignorant, repulsive personalities and behavior.

#6 – Rolling Stone is an American magazine, I am sure they have been on Britain’s major music magazine. Good for them, this is what they want: to be big in America.

Comments like THAT ^ are what make “older” fans despise the “new” fans. Nothing wrong with noticing how gorgeous they are, but try getting to know them as musicians.

Kings of Leon experiments with their music and Only by the Night is a bit mainstream but they still have songs that rock. Caleb is definately a talented singer (especially when his voice in “Milk”). Compared to their beginnings, you can tell his range is wider and has improved but is still consistent.

So what if they wanted to be big in the US? They ARE an American band. Of course we don’t want them being overexposed but it’s about damn time they got recognition!

Congrats, I’ve been listening to The Bucket and California Waiting for days. One of the new fans who appreciates their old stuff too, I got tuned into them on SNL.
