Looking sexy and sophisticated, Drew Barrymore strolls into the Four Seasons Hotel for the Grey Gardens press conference on Friday (April 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 34-year-old actress selected Lorraine Schwartz ring/earrings, Badgley Mischka brooch and House of Lavande bracelet to set off her classic eggplant Nina Ricci cocktail dress. She finished off her look with animal-print Gucci peep-toe slingbacks.

OK.. the movie airs tomorrow… Great then Drew can stop channeling this woman. Why does she feel the need to stay in character this long. I don’t have HBO so I can’t watch. But I did see the documentary that the movie is based on. From what i have seen and heard Drew does a wonderful job. But please.. maybe as Ellen said she will win her Emmy.

I agree with Lisa, between the movie and the timing of Scarlett Johannson’s modeling/brand campaign I thought she was borrowing heavily upon Scarlett’s style. The movie will help because Barrymore has always portrayed herself as a free spirit in lieu of retro vamp. I always thought that made her unique. But she is getting older. Mid-30s is hard to keep swinging as flower child. Maybe she’s simply showing us that she’s not just channeling the role but growing up…hmm…
