Jennifer Garner looks girl next door gorgeous on the May 2009 cover of InStyle. The 36-year-old actress gives a candid interview to the mag and pokes fun at husband Ben Affleck quite a bit. Check out all the funny things she had to say:
On keeping it real: “I never go nuts with my look. It’s easy to feel like you’ve gone into caricature territory when you do. I’ve found that if you feel like a good, you’re going to look like one.”
On what she’s learned from her mom: “She taught me to proof my yeast with a little bit of sugar–which she learned from her mom, Violet (the name of Jen’s oldest daughter). And she also taught me how to stretch a roasted chicken to make three meals. Though Ben could eat an entire chicken in one sitting.”
On practice making perfect: “These days I wear less makeup than earlier in my career, but I know a lot more about it now.”
On why Violet’s hair looks a little messy sometimes: “Ben will do the school run. He dresses her and does her hair. It’s pretty funny. (makes playful glance) You can always tell when he has been at it, just two random barrettes hanging in there. It’s so sweet.”

Jennifer Garner is an All-American beauty and Ben could not have asked for a more elegant, natural, intelligent, talented woman. She is a wonderful mother and I always enjoy seeing Mrs. Affleck taking care of her beautiful daughters.

Pig head ho..Sure she looks great in these photos. Usually it is
a long photo a full shot on just a head shot… Yes but Ben has
not taken Vi to school lately for a month since he is in Boston
filming a movie and promoting his State of Play so the only
person to blame is Jen for her daughters messy hair.. and
she did say that she is up half the night with her younger daughter

Jen is great, an excellent mother, they are both hands on parents. Jen is the best thing that ever happened to Ben. And I am a Ben fan.
the only reason i like her is cuz she seems 2 be a nice person and a caring mother unlike some hollywood moms
