Terrence Howard: Fighting To The Finish
I ran into Terrence Howard at the after-party for his Fighting premiere at Marquee lounge in New York City on Monday night (April 20).
Since the 40-year-old actor has a funny accent throughout Fighting, I asked him what kind of accent it was. He joked, “old Jewish lady.”
Unfortunately for Terrence, he won’t be reprising his role in Iron Man 2 since he was replaced in the sequel by Don Cheadle after a rumored dispute with producers over salary issues. Terrence obviously doesn’t think it was a good decision. He told Parade, “Marvel made a choice, and it was a very, very bad choice. They didn’t keep their word. They didn’t honor my contract. They produced a great bounty with the first one but they put it all in the storehouse and you were not allowed in. They did the same thing with Gwyneth Paltrow, from what I’ve been told. They did it with almost everyone except Robert Downey [Jr.]. One of the things that actors need to learn to do is always stick together, one for all and all for one.”
