Alexis Bledel hits up the launch of the “Matthew Williamson for H&M” Spring 2009 collection at The Majesty in New York City on Tuesday (April 28).
The 27-year-old actress wore a gorgeous Matthew Williamson dress and finished off her look with Sergio Rossi shoes and a Jenny Yuen bag. Styling by Kemal & Karla.
Alexis recently spoke with AMC and talked about how she’s always known as “Rory”! She said, “Oh, yeah. But I don’t feel I’m anything like Rory. Aside from sounding the same – and physically! (laughs) Usually people call me Rory; I don’t think they actually know my real name. But I was always happy that she was a great character and very different from other teenage characters on television.”

Alexis Bledel’s dress is totally hip & chic… it really suits her.
I hope she breaks out of her tv role. She has had several nice little roles in movies. I hope she gets the opportunity of a juicy role to change the “rory” typecast.
